First Lutheran Church Hot Springs AR

Jesus cares about how we live when no one is looking and when everyone is looking. He cares about our hearts and our lives, in what we believe about him and how we are living it out every day. Our integrity is what empowers our witness in the eyes of others.

Jesus cares about how we love and honor each other in the kingdom.

We should forgive because Christ forgave us first.

Reconciliation is what the Christian faith is all about. It's all about God making us right with him so there's nothing between us and we can have this wonderful relationship with Him.

What does it truly mean to confess Jesus? Not just as a one-time declaration, but as a living, ongoing expression of who He is and what He means to us. That question sits at the heart of this message.

Jesus cares about our physical needs. He cares about our health and wholeness of our bodies. He cares about us when we're in need of financial help to take care of our daily physical needs of food, shelter and transportation.

What if the greatest qualification for entering the kingdom of God is something we already see every day in the faces of children?

Jesus cares about what we cherish, value highly, and protect with care.

Jesus Cares About Our Hearts. Our heart is the key to everything in our spiritual life.

The kind of rest Jesus cares about is a spiritual rest.

Jesus cares about our spiritual condition and our life in HIM. He cares about every aspect of our lives.

Jesus cares about the persecution we will face and how we will endure it.

Jesus cares about how we go about the mission in reaching sinners.

Jesus cares about us and what's going on in our lives.

Pentecost reminds us that the Christian faith is not built on human strength, but on the work of the Holy Spirit.

The most important aspect for an Easter Faith is this:  having a faith to "Live as One"! This is why Jesus came, suffered, died, rose, and sent the Holy Spirit. He did it all to reconcile us to His Father and to us and each other.

An Easter Faith is where dead things come alive. It's when we have a faith that receives the help of the Holy Spirit.

How is an Easter faith also a faith to do what Jesus did?

This powerful message centers on the concept of 'Easter faith'—a living, vibrant faith that goes beyond Good Friday's sobering reminder of Christ's sacrifice to embrace the resurrection power that enables us to rise again.

Have you ever tried something once and decided to give up? This sermon encourages us to "try again" and move forward in our faith.

Trust issues can sometimes paralyze our spiritual growth.

Faith to believe again, because that's where the disciples were. Their hopes were dashed. Everything went bad when Jesus died on the cross. Then, he rose, they had to have faith to believe that it was Him, that it was real, that everything Jesus said was true.

Pride prevents us from receiving the grace and gifts that God wants to give us.

Death does not have the final say.

What is God really saying and doing? He wants us to see and hear in the spirit.
