Today's scripture reference is 1 Peter 3:13-17.  If someone would ask you "why do you have hope", what would you say?  No one has all the answers, but when we have the opportunity to share with someone about Jesus, we should.  Never pass up the chance to tell your testimony about how God has worked in your life.

The scripture reference today is 1 Peter 3:8-12.  Peter talks about having compassion for one another in the world and in the church and having compassion for the Lord and refraining from evil.

When you get married you don't know the tremendous joy that marriage will bring or how hard marriage will be.  Marriage will take you through the valleys of challenge, the pains of parenting, the hills of hurts and the heights of joy as you experience love for a lifetime..

Marriage is a precious gift from God.  But let's be honest...marriage can be hard work!  The truth is that every marriage faces obstacles, difficulties and conflict.  Peter has some challenging words to wives and husbands considering marriage.  Our scripture reference for today's message is 1 Peter 2:18-24.
