Matthew 7:27-32; Jesus Christ concludes his "sermon on the mount" by showing us a two builders; two homes and two foundations. He shows us the wise man builds his home upon THE Rock of the gospel of Jesus Christ. The foolish man builds upon the shifting sand of his own "good" works.

Matthew 7:21-23; Jesus warns his disciples to not place their trust in good theology or good works alone for entry into his kingdom. Only "doing" the will of the Father opens the gates to the Kingdom of heaven. In the end all people are to "Am I known by Jesus?"

Matthew 7:15-20; The Lord Jesus Christ gives instruction to his disciples to be on guards against false teachers. In this sermon we hear Christ's instruction to be on guard against false teacher, how to recognize them and the warning against following them.

Matthew 7:13-14; Jesus commands his disciples to enter by the "narrow gate, but avoid the wide gate." Christ's command goes against the grain of the world which says "live to die". Jesus says "die to live."

Matthew 7:12; The Golden Rule is not unique to Christianity. In all other religions, however, it is the way of salvation. Only in Christianity is the Golden Rule the RESPONSE to Christ's work of Salvation.

Matthew 7:7-11; How should we approach God the Father in Prayer. Jesus, the Father's beloved son, tells his disciples to go to the Father as a GOOD father, because he delights to give HIMSELF to his children.
