I Chronicles 10:1-14. King Saul's sins catch up with him in battle with the Philistines. The Israelites find themselves without a king; they have no one to lead them. How could God allow this to happen to His people? The LORD wasn't finished with His people, His hand was still at work calling them back to Himself.

2 Kings 17:6-23. The purpose of Israel's demise is explained for us. The LORD cast them from His sight due to their insistence on worshiping other gods. God dealt with Israel's problem, which is the same problem we face today, with sending His Son to take our place.

2 Kings 5:1-14. This passage details the journey of Naaman, an enemy of God, becoming a child of God. God seems to use the most unlikely situations to make this man clean, just as He uses unlikely situations to make us clean.

Ephesians 2:1-10. Saved by grace through faith. Chairman Layne Hoops gives the message from Ephesians 2.

I Kings 9:1-9. The LORD visits King Solomon after he's completed the temple and his palace with an important message. It's a warning to the king about the crossroads he finds himself in. It also serves as a timely warning for us today against "putting our faith in neutral."

2 Samuel 24:10-17. David's stubbornness leads to a decision proving to be costly. David gets a glimpse of God's wrath but then is shown God's mercy and intercedes for his people.

2 Samuel 7:8-17. David decides to build the LORD a house but the LORD says he isn't to build one. Instead, the LORD was going to give him a name, a place, and a kingdom that will last. While David was able to catch glimpses of it during his lifetime, the promise wouldn't find its full fulfillment until much later. Like David, we get to live in a glimpse of that fulfillment now while we wait for it...

I Samuel 26:6-25. King Saul is out to kill David, again. His jealousy is causing him to act rather unbecoming. David, on the other hand, exhibits his righteousness in light of all the difficulties he faces. Where does David's confidence stem from? Is it possible for us to have that same confidence?

I Samuel 12:6-25. For the first time in their history, the Israelites had a king. On the surface it seemed as though things were looking up for the nation, Samuel provides a different angle and reveals what's really going on. Can God's people still return to the Lord or has this decision sealed their fate? How are we to respond when we follow in the same footsteps as these Israelites?

I Samuel 1:9-18. All Hannah wanted was a child. What she gets though is so much more than she could ever hope for. Hear how Hannah's hope also gives us hope in all of life's circumstances.

Judges 6:11-24. Gideon comes to a harrowing realization when he figures out who he's been talking to. He's in no way prepared to talk with the Lord, and yet, the Lord came to talk to him. What does it take to find favor with the Lord?

Judges 2:1-19. Throughout the period of Judges, the covenant God made with His people was tested. Would it still stand? Would God give up and walk away? How can we know His covenant is still good?

Joshua 7. The Scripture text ends in a way that leaves us scratching our heads. It doesn't end the way we'd want or expect. The ending, however, is necessary to prepares us for something greater.

Luke 15:1-10. AFLC World Missions Director gives a message on the value of the lost and a the congregation's cause for the lost.

Matthew 28:1-8. What happened that caused calloused soldiers to cower in fear while giving a group of women great joy? Why the different reactions?

Colossians 2:13-15. The final petition of the Lord's Prayer. Tonight we look at the evil from which we need to be delivered.

Deuteronomy 5:29. The Lord is grieved over the condition of man. Moses is reminded of man's condition and what the Lord planned to do about it.
