The early Church was, indeed, great. But what exactly made the early Church so great? Whatever they had, we need it AND we should want it!

Pastor Duane Harney reveals the kind of courage necessary to be a Christian in a world that is hostile towards the name of Jesus and His followers.

Many have deemed the Church as "non-essential," and even some within the Church have expressed a disappointment with - and have openly opposed - those who would reopen their churches at this time. But what does God have to say about this? Is church essential?

In order to be a kinsman redeemer, one had to meet certain criteria: 1) He must be qualified, 2) He must be able and 3) He must be willing. To redeem us... Jesus was qualified by His birth. Jesus was able to redeem us. Jesus was willing to pay the price to redeem us - freely laying down His own life for us. Only Jesus is qualified.

With Jesus, we have everything we need to be satisfied.

No matter how bad you may have messed up and no matter how bad things may get, just cling to Jesus and everything will be alright.

Social distancing, ten lepers, and how it all applies to us today.

We often can't see the hand of God at work in the various circumstances of our lives - both good and bad - but, be certain, God is at work to perform His will.

Sometimes God allows crises, such as the Covid-19 ordeal, to draw us to Himself. We have the free will to choose whether we turn to Him in the hard times, or to turn away from Him. Which will you choose?

The world - and sadly much of the Church - has made a real mess of things. We've forsaken God and have attempted to push Him out of every facet of our lives, including the Church. It's time to repair the altar, repent and serve the Lord. Then, and only then, will the abundance of God's blessings return.
