Behind The Funny

This week Ace and I are joined by one of our favorite comics John Morris.  We started off talking about families of comedians then the conversation turned to hecklers and other comedy stories.  We also prodded John into telling one of the funniest bad gig stories ever, his infamous Bird Show story.  We covered a lot of ground this week and had some big laughs doing so.

Ace and I are joined by Ace's fellow RI Comedy Hall of Fame member John Perotta and Hall of Fame founder Joe Hebert.  Ace, John, and Joe have combined over 90 years of comedy history and this episode they share their tales of RI Comedy past.  We went long on this one but it was worth it...

Ace and I are joined by Brad Pierce and Mike Murray.  We had a fun discussion on working road gigs and performing in front of different types of crowds.  There were a lot of laughs during these stories.

This week we had a roundtable discussion about creating material, trying it out, and taking risks.  Ace Aceto, Tom Stewart, Derrick Fonseca and I had a great time comparing notes and sharing stories. Thanks to the listener email for bringing this subject up.   f4fpod@gmail.com   twitter: @f4fpod

This week I "Turned The Tables" on myself.  I had Ace Aceto guest host the episode as I sat in the guest chair.  It was fun experience to sit on the other side and talk about when I started and my comedy career.  Ace is a natural in the hosting chair and we always have a blast together.  Maybe we should team up ......

A conversation with my long time friend and Funny 4 Funds favorite Ace Aceto.  He is founder of Ace's Royal Flush Comedy series and a member of the RI Comedy Hall of Fame.
