Compromise: Satan’s Subtle Strategy. What Jesus says is true because He is the author of truth. Truth proceeds from the heart of an all-wise, all-loving, all-knowing God. He is the foundation of reality and of all truth

Savage Wolves. His concern is that “savage wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock” (Acts 20:29, NKJV).

Then Jesus said to them, ‘A little while longer the light is with you. Walk while you have the light, lest darkness overtake you; he who walks in darkness does not know where he is going (John 12:35, NKJV).

The spirit of vital godliness will disappear.

Truth Triumphant. Christ is victorious. Evil is defeated. Jesus wins and Satan loses.

God’s Word may be attacked, or suppressed, but it will never be eradicated.

Revelation 11:9 says that the bodies of God’s two witnesses would lie unburied for “three-and-a-half days” (NKJV)

The two witnesses “ ‘will prophesy one thousand two hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth’ ” (Rev. 11:3, NKJV)

In Zechariah 4, the prophet saw two olive trees on either side of a golden lampstand—the same imagery that we find here in Revelation 11

Through it all, God’s Word has prevailed

God's Divine Mercy. God's love

2 King 6:17 And Elisha prayed, and said, “Lord, I pray, open his eyes that he may see.” Then the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw. And behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha

Romans 3:27-28 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? Of works? No, but by the law of faith. 28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith apart from the deeds of the law.

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 6:23)

John 16:13 However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.

For,” as he said, “we can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth” (2 Corinthians 13:8).

God is love. God's love is the basis of our faith.

A legacy for love. Love was the norm of Christian communities in the first few centuries of

Caring for the community. Jesus deeply cared for people so did the New Testament Church.

Faithful amid persecution. The disciples faced threats (Acts 4:17)

Christians providentially preserved. God mercy, grace, providence and foreknowledge are clearly revealed in the events leading up to the destruction of Jerusalem.
