The Devil Wears Prada 2 Review - The ladies are back for another catty fashion show in this legacy sequel. The Devil Wears Prada 2 was far better than it had any right to be. Anne Hathaway, Meryl Streep and Emily Blunt effortlessly fall back into their characters. Stanley Tucci doesn't disappoint either. The Devil Wears Prada 2 was a pleasant surprise. A24 Mother Mary Review - Anne Hathaway stars as a famous pop singer with a disturbing secret in the new A24 film, "Mother Mary". I was on board at first but then the supernatural angle to shook and completely took me out. The trailers for this are also very misleading. Almost the entire movie takes place in one location with two women talking for 90 minutes straight. It's a mess. My Patreon: https...

Apex Review - Netflix has a new movie called "Apex" with Charlize Theron and Taron Egerton. This survival action flick has a lot in common with A River Wild and Deliverance but with none of the memorable, staying power. For Netflix, it's a perfectly fine watch but nothing I would spend money on. My Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/adamdoesmovies My Social Media: https://linktr.ee/adamolinger Narra...

Michael Review - The new Michael Jackson movie is finally out! I have a lot to say about the king of pop's film. The music, the actors, the sound design is all fantastic but the story doesn't always work the best. There is also a very noticeable family member missing which makes the whole production feel a bit incomplete. Overall, this was still a very cool celebration of Michael Jackson that will...

Lee Cronin's The Mummy Recap - Join me as I attempt to explain what I just watch with Lee Cronin's The Mummy. A gross, messy film with some interesting ideas handled in a pretty stupid way. Roommates Review - Netflix has a new trending movie with Adam Sandler's daughter, Sadie Sandler. Actually, it stars like 6 nepo kid actors and Chloe East. Roommates follows a couple of college girls who are struggling to live together on campus. That's about as relatable as the movie will ever get, because everything else falls flat. Lee Cronin's The Mummy Review - There is a brand new Mummy film in 2026 that isn't really a mummy film at all. In fact, it feels like another entry into the fun, twisted world of The Evil Dead. Except, this movie isn't supposed to be all that fun. Thrash Movie Review - Netflix has a brand new shark movie to ruin your afternoon. It's actually a natural disaster movie, shark attack combo. It's really the worst of both worlds since the movie is a dull, dreary slog. It's a real shame. I love me a good shark flick but Thrash just didn't ever go anywhere interesting. What a waste of a cool, effective premise. My Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/a...

Faces of Death Review - Another day, another remake. Faces of Death goes the Anaconda (2026) route by making the original film a movie within the movie. The killer is even inspired by the footage from the cult classic and attempts to recreate the scenes. The movie starts off with an interesting premise but ultimately can't figure out an interesting final act. My Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/ad...

Can the MCU be saved? Doomsday will undoubtably make Disney a ton of money but what will that do for the rest of the universe? Movies like The Marvels, Thunderbolts and Fantastic Four either bombed or barely made profit. Plus, the quality of the MCU has dropped significantly post-Endgame. The Disney+ Marvel shows are not helping matters. Often undercutting big moments or fracturing audiences that...

The Super Mario Galaxy Movie Recap - Join me as I attempt to remember the nonstop plot points of the new Super Mario Galaxy Movie. There are so many video game references and nostalgic callbacks, that you will miss some if you even blink. I found the movie to be colorful but empty with nothing to offer outside of a lot of gaming callbacks. My Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/adamdoesmovies My Soci...

A24 The Drama Review - Robert Pattinson and Zendaya star in The Drama, a new film by A24. This dramedy has some great performances, a good pace and an interesting premise that keeps you invested from beginning to end. The Super Mario Galaxy Movie Review - The followup film to the massively popular Super Mario Bros. Movie is here! Mario Galaxy takes our plumbers to strange new places and gives them zero seconds to take anything in. The fast pace and insane amount of characters make Illuminations second outing feel very bloated and unfocused. If you are going for the nostalgia and gaming references, you will not...

They Will Kill You Review - Zazie Beetz stars as a katana-wielding baddie in this Ready or Not style cat and mouse horror/action film. The big difference is the presentation. They Will Kill You heavily pulls from Kill Bill, for better and worse. Not a bad flick and very easy to get through. Walt Disney has reached some big lows in the eyes of many over the years. The theme parks are overrun, overpriced and outdated. The Disney movies are often recycled live-action slop or uninspired animations. Star Wars and the MCU have gotten boring or downright bad. The question is, can Disney be fixed? Can the public perception change? Join me as I discuss this with my audience and figure out som...

Dhurandhar The Revenge Review - Jaskirat Singh Rangi is back undercover as Hamza Ali Mazari in the sequel to Dhurandhar. The film is very good but there are some issues that keep it from being amazing. I give the pros and cons on the new Indian Bollywood film, Dhurandhar 2. Project Hail Mary Review - The author of The Martian has a new movie adaptation called Project Hal Mary. I was very excited to check this one out. Netflix's War Machine Movie Review - Alan Ritchson battles an alien machine in the new 2026 Netflix exclusive, War Machine. It's a mix of Predator, War of the Worlds and ID4 with none of the charm or quippy 1-liners. It's not a bad watch but definitely nothing you will remember in a week. Hoppers Movie Review - Pixar appears to be lost. I don't know what is going on over there but Hoppers felt like a movie by a studio that doesn't know how to make a good movie, so instead it just emulates others. Hoppers is funny at times and insulting at others. Families will be fine with it but I couldn't wait to leave the theater. My Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/adamdoesmovies My Social Medi...
