Several students from Akron Early College High School were tasked with envisioning what is needed to make Akron a better place, particularly for younger people, as part of a school project. Many of them shared what they learned and what they think is needed to help the city moves forward.

Dr. David Tefteller discusses the School of Counseling's degree options, the market demand for school counselors, clinical mental health counseling as well as marriage & family counseling.

University of Akron Psychology Professor Dr. John Queener uses his training in the classroom and to help the community. He talks about mental health challenges, particularly in the Black community and offers advice. Also, Larry Purnell a UA student and a 4Hope Youth Ambassador, talks about the upcoming Your Mental Health Matters Open Mic Summit.

Host Chris Keppler, who is also the general manager at WZIP-FM is joined by Juan Contreras, the general manager of ZTV and two WZIP students, Logan Buchanan and Sava Mirkovic, to discuss the benefits of joining these co-curricular programs at The University of Akron.

University of Akron Student Recreation and Wellness Center Director Nick Weber and Fitness Director Frank Abbey offer advice on how to begin and maintain your fitness journey along with some unique resources available at UA's award-winning facilities.
