They say to be careful what you wish for as you may get it, well prayer is different, in that your request is monitored and the decision is not just yours. At Passover time we search for a piece of bread called the Afikomen, this is a Greek word and the only one in the Hebrew service. Do you know why this is? Love is the factor given in the Hebrew scriptures for worship of G-d and interaction with mankind. If motivation is based upon some other issue, then both the religious person and those around them may suffer in some form or another.
