The answsers are Elton John, Adele, Ed Sheeran... Hannyta!  The question?  Which artists were in the top 5 South African Itunes pop downloads for the week of November 10, 2021?  Hannyta's publicists reached out to us with a pointer to her smash hit "Wildflower" a couple of weeks ago,  and when we heard it we just had to have her on Yeah Uh Huh.  Having just returned from o...

We close out our series on JFK with another take on the assassination.  Wtih Katanna Zachry and Sarah Peterson,  we examined many different conspiracy theories.  In episode 34,  our favorite armchair detective JT Townsend (writer of "Summer's Almost Gone" about the Bricca murders) presents the least popular theory of all... the Oswald as lone gunman concept.  For those tha...

Will Cooper returns to the show to help us with our Kennedy trilogy of podcasts.  Two of three of these shows are devoted to the devastating loss to our country on Nov. 22, 1963.  But we thought it very important to cover what the 35th president of our country actually achieved during his remarkable, televised administration. We talk about the culturally significant 1960 debate with Rich...

Conspiracy fatigue has settled over the assassination of John Fitzgerald Kennedy on November 22nd 1963.  Yet it remains difficult for some to get their head around the thought of a ne'er do well barely holding down a minimum wage job in a school book wharehouse toppling one of the most admired presidents of the 20th century.  Our guests Sara Peterson and Katanna Zachry are instructors in...

The 55th anniversary of the Bricca murders just passed last week,  and we thought it was an appropriate time to bring back local author ("Summer's Almost Gone") JT Townsend for a comprehensive discussion of another case.  Technically,  the kidnapping and murder of Charles Lindbergh Jr. in March of 1932 is not cold at all.  Bruno Hauptman paid for the crime with his life.  ...

In part one of their Tom Petty Heavy Hitters episode TJ2 of the Rock and Roll Heaven Podcast challenged their listeners to come up with a set list for one of Tom’s pet projects, The traveling Wilburys.  We thought about listing them on one of their social media sites.  But as we reviewed The Traveling Wilburys Volume 1 and 3 and some of the non-Wilbury work the members of the super group produced,...
