Yamez

Yamez is a leading DJ, producer, and turntablist for Trap, EDM, Hip-Hop, Drum and Bass, and Open Format. He has won multiple DJ battles, DJ’d radio shows, performed at parties for MTV, BMW, and has held residencies at Webster Hall with Vashtie, Marquee, The DL with Stretch Armstrong, and Pacha, among others. He has toured over fifteen countries with world renowned artists including Trey Songz, Miguel, Elle Varner, and Azealia Banks, and has performed at Radio City Music Hall with Nas. After winning several DJ battles in Pittsburgh and Amherst in the early 2000’s, Yamez was noticed by the X-Ecutioners, a world renowned turntablist crew formed in 1989. The members of the X-Ecutioners, including Grandmaster Roc Raida, DJ Precision, DJ Total Eclipse, and Boogie Blind, became Yamez’s mentors.
