Tallanvor admonishes the guard who sent Mat away while they're on their way out. When Mat returns to the Queen's Blessing, he abruptly announces that he'll be leaving for Tear as soon as he can pack his bags and get some food in his stomach. Mat and Thom arrive in Caemlyn. Mat seems very impressed by it's scale, and maybe more so by it's wealth. Moiraine's little group, Faile being the newest addition, are fleeing Illian. She believes that Sammael knows where they are, and they know Rand is on his way to Tear. Lan is curious as to how Perrin sensed the Grey Men before he or Moiraine could.
