A date is now set for nurses at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison to hold a federally supervised election to join SEIU Wisconsin. A St. Mary's nurse spoke to Labor Radio.

Madison alders unanimously approved Tuesday a redesign of Regent Street, a major east-west street for pedestrian, business, and commuter use. The redesign eliminates the two lane traffic for both sides – allowing for a larger pedestrian sidewalk – and a cut-out delivery and parking zones, among other changes.
