#222--Magnolia (1999). In this episode we get froggy and try to find out if it did happen. Also, Shane calls a "Gentleman's Hotline."

#223--Dances With Wolves (1990). Three of us discuss this film's influence on cinema; while Shane pays homage to the set's hairdressers in an in-depth tirade about the impact of hair on film.

#224--Kind Hearts and Coronets (1949). This week we discuss a matter of some delicacy. This film is described as a British Dark Comedy. It is really only one of those three things.

#225--The Night of the Hunter (1955). Do you like thrillers, but don't like to be thrilled? Then this movie is for you! Listen along as we follow the escapades of two road warrior children as they run from LOVE and HATE.

#226--Blood Diamond (2006). Much like this film we introduce hard-hitting socioeconomic issues like DiCaprio's accent, and whether or not a taxi is a viable transportation option to a lucrative backdoor diamond transaction.

#227--The Incredibles (2004). If you don't like Pixar, we can't be friends. We also can't be friends unless we... well, you'll see.

#228--The King's Speech (2010). Listen along this week as we stammer through another movie and find out if it really speaks to us.

#229--The Martian (2015). Join us this week as we science the shit out of this movie. This is the first film in our Rescue Matt Damon series so pull out your salt shakers and science along with us!

#230--Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (1958). Do you guys like Tennessee Williams? So far, we don't either...

#231--Rio Bravo (1959). Starring John Wayne and Dean Martin. This is our first foray into the Western genre where we discuss relevant and riveting topics like the origins of Post Malone, and the influence of RoboCop on cinema.

#232--Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? (1966). The plot keywords listed on IMDb for this film include: "alcohol," "drunken argument," "marital argument," and "professor." So if you're into any of those, then this one's for you! To fit the theme of the movie, take a drink every time Jack says "interesting!"

#233--The Last Picture Show (1971). A "coming of age" film about Jeff Bridges and the other guy, or some shit.

#234--Rope (1948). This week we rock out with our Hitchcock out, and get real nerdy about cinematography.

#235--Annie Hall (1977). The the the neurotic ramblings of a of a strange little man as as he navigates the the relationships in his life and complains about everything. (and no, we're not talking about Shane)

#236--Kill Bill: Vol.2 (2004). An interesting foray into the significance of prequels as we dive into the second volume of a series before seeing the first; at least for one of us.

#237--Fiddler on the Roof (1971). Witness first hand the consequences of playing instruments in questionable places.

This week we interrupt our semi-regularly scheduled programming to introduce the first of our Special Episode series. We thought to ourselves; there's a lot of good movies that didn't make this list. So naturally we had to fertilize the Top 250 with our own cinematic seeds. Listen, and hear our suggestions for movies that should be on the list, one of which we will review in a later Special!

#238--The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993). This is Halloween... or is it Christmas? This is Tim Burton... but is it another Big Fish?

#239--Rosemary's Baby (1968). If selling your soul to the devil doesn't work, try selling a uterus instead!

#240--Short Term 12 (2013)--Captain Marvel and Freddie Mercury run a house for at-risk youth. They team up with an emo kid to destroy a car and commit several violations of professional ethics. Overall not too bad.

#241--Her (2013). I, for one, welcome our new sexbot overlords.

#242--Ratatouille (2007). This week we slow roast a Pixar classic!

#243--The Straight Story (1999). Directed by David Lynch, but somehow not traumatizing. There's no way to describe this movie other than to just summarize the plot. An old man drives a lawnmower across Iowa to visit his brother. Yup. That's it. Don't worry though, we have more to say about it.

#244--Sling Blade (1996), a heartwarming redemption tale about a man who befriends a young boy. Or maybe a sad tale about recidivism in Arkansas prisons. Who knows? Starring Billy Bob Thornton, French Fried Taters, and a lawnmower. Listen along as we smother this film in mustard.

#245--Sleuth (1972), not to be confused with the 2007 remake of the same name. This is one of those movies that relies completely on surprise plot twists to be good, so... spoiler alert or whatever. Starring Michael Caine and Laurence Olivier. As well as 4 other big name actors that definitely exist.
