Words of encouragement

The fruit of a good connection to the Jesus is full, complete and overwhelming joy and gladness... can't get that from the store!

Jesus is a master connector... able to reach us at all levels (Body, Soul, and Spirit)...as our Teacher, He instructs us to follow His lead when ministering to others.

True salvation takes more than knowing about God, it requires a loving relationship... in this case love is truly spelled, T-i-m-e. Time in God's word, and time spent in the secret place--alone, together with Him!

Embarrassment is a clear sign we hold a prideful self image.  Let's follow Jesus' humble example, never letting what other people think of us be something we try to live up to...rather, take up our cross and follow Him!

We have God's Kingdom within us... when we first believe, it's starts out small like a mustard seed and as we are filled with more of God's love, it infiltrates every part of our being...filling us with all the fullness of God!

Have you ever been amazed at how a book thousands of years old could still be pertinent today?... That's the thought that inspired this Poem-- Floating Treasure Found

Understanding God's word is all about the Holy Spirit's guidance...

Sometimes it's difficult understanding the things of God, but faith in Jesus and reliance on the Holy Spirit to help guide us through God's word will always see us through!

Success can be defined using the world's standards or God's standards... only One way is The way to the great acclaim:  Well done, thy good and faithful servant!

Poem-- Eternity in Mind.... Jesus teaches to us to think with an eternal mindset...the rewards are not subject to decay and ruin.

When confronted by the miraculous, consider it proof of life that our God still lives!

Poem--- The greatest miracle on grass....Feeding the 5000 with the 5 loaves of bread and two fish from the little boy's point of view.

There is a lot to be hopeful for when you base your hope on Christ, anything or anyone else results in hopelessness.

Elections put people in power... however, God grants them authority!  Remember, we may not agree on the candidates, but I hope each of us would fight for each other's right to vote!

Since creation began, God continues to show out and show up as proof He loves us!

There is a friend closer than any. brother.. His name is Jesus... His Word is His bond...His bond is love!  Let's get onboard by seperating from this world's values and clinging to His!

Thanks to Holy Spirit, God lives in us...what do we do with this information? ... Do we choose to believe this truth by keeping aware of His presence or ignore and even downplay His importance?

Have you been fed food for your soul and spirit yet this morning?  God's word is like the manna He sent to the Israelites in their 40 year wilderness experience... only God's word is meant to give eternal life!

So, we do good stuff, for God... Turns out He's most interested in our motivation.. why do we do it?  Is it out of duty or out of our loving faith in Father God.. for without faith, it's impossible to please Him.

What's our source for answers?  Jesus tells us, God's word is Truth (John 17:17).  When we seek why things are, the way they are, a study of the word "because" in the bible will give some enlightening answers.

You're not stuck alone here on this big planet!  If you know Jesus as your Lord and Saviour, you have access to great joy and times of refreshing just by closing out the world and being alone with your creator.. it's called the Secret Place!

Obeying God's commandments is second nature and not a burden to those who love Him with all our heart, mind, soul and strength!

When you love someone, their friends become your friends,  their enemies become your enemies... It's the same with God, we are to love what God loves and hate what He hates.

It may seem like evil is winning, but just in time our Phoenix-rising from the ashes, JESUS, rescues us with His love and power... thereby giving us faith to overcome the next battle!

We are all slaves of what we obey ( Romans 6:16)... Jesus set us free from our slavery to sin... now we can choose to be His slaves because we love what He did for us and we trust Him.
