Traveling on Trust Trail requires we replace our pride with humility, a lifelong journey for us. Understanding six key concepts will help us head in the right direction: Believe without doubt, Transfer the Center, Endure Affliction, Bear with Others, Defer Gratification, and Accept Our Limitations.

As we come out of level four, death of self, we can begin to grow through the remaining levels: Humility, dependency, acceptance, love. Our spiritual journey takes us to a beautiful union with God, where we are one. We then know the joy of being at peace with God and ourselves.

There are eight levels on our spiritual journey. The first three include the sensual level, the community level, and the individuation level. Without some sort of personal earthquake, it is difficult for most to progress to level four: Death of self. This is the critical level opening the way to the remaining four.

The Sabbath is a holy day, blessed by God, a day when we cease from our work. God created us, and so knows how our life functions best, that we need a weekly break for our physical, emotional, and spiritual health. Learn what Scripture says about this important part of our life.

We have inclinations and urgings all day long, but where do they come from? Is that God speaking to us or Satan? Or maybe neither, instead the world’s voice trying to influence us, or it’s simply our self. How do we know? Discernment is possible, but it takes a little work.

Jesus was the model of the non-dualistic life, deliberately going outside the socially acceptable boundaries. As we follow him, we learn to remove the barriers, to accept others, to see similarities, not differences, and move into relationships with love. God will always supply us with love when ours runs out.

Living with an undivided heart means we see all people as part of our group, every nationality, color, religious belief, sexual orientation, political party, etc. Even closer to home, those in our family, church, neighborhood, and work place are to be included. Sectioning off groups and individuals is dualism and limits the life God asks us to live.
