Woodlands Metro Talks

Andy kicks off our new series The Holy Spirit for Everyone with a talk about generosity.

Dave concludes our Woodlands Church Family Values series by talking about Expectancy. What can we do as a community to be expectant and why is it so important that we are?

Laura gives our third talk in the Woodlands Church Family values series focussing on Empowered. Tying in nicely with it being Pentacost Laura talks about what it means to be empowered by the Holy Spirit and how we can see that in our lives.

Deb Marsh visits us from Highgrove to continue our series about Woodlands Church Family culture. Talking about authenticity, Deb reflects on how that plays out in our relationships with each other and also with God, as well as touching on how our modern society has affected our view of authenticity. The book Deb references is Platforms to Pillars by Mark Sayers.

Dave brings us the first in a new series Our Culture which focuses on The Woodlands Church Family values and how we can represent them. We look at being Welcoming and the ways Jesus did this and what barriers there might be for people looking to be welcomed at Metro.

Steve takes us on an exploration of Romans 8 v 31-39 as he explains why it's one of his favourite parts of the bible, and how we can never be separated from the love of God.

Dave brings us the final part of our Dinner With Jesus series looking at Peter's redemptive conversation with Jesus on the beach.

Laura continues our Dinner With Jesus series, bringing us her word for Easter Sunday and reflecting on the importance of invitation in our faith.

Returning to our Dinner With Jesus series, Martin brings us a talk reflecting on Palm Sunday and the Last Supper.

Rob Scott Cook comes to speak to us about his vision for Metro for the year, the Holy Spirit and how prayer and prophecy impact our lives.

Dave brings us the second talk in our new series: Dinner with Jesus. We look at the feeding of the five thousand in Luke 9 and uncover how this miracle is relevant to how we want to be living our lives.

Matt Forth brings us the first talk in our new series: Dinner With Jesus, where he looks at how Jesus used meals to connect with and minister to those around him.
