​Jesus is our best example of being filled with the Spirit. We need the Spirit's filling. We receive it by prioritizing the same things as Jesus.

​We have all had different experiences of the Spirit. Sometimes everything seems clear other times this Spirit seems confusing or even silent. How do we make sense of all that?

It's easy to think of the Holy Spirit as incredibly important but we're less clear what his job description actually us. What if the power you're looking for is exactly what the Spirit was given to us to do? 

When you read the stories of the Spirit in the New Testament, they're amazing and inspirational. We're told that the Spirit "talked" or "led" people to do and say specific things. Is that still something we can expect? Is that still something we should look for? 

We all have experienced strange moments in our lives that we didn't know how to categorize. Was it the supernatural, was it coincidence? How we interpret these types of events often speaks to the ways we think the Spirit can or can't work today. What should we expect from the Spirit when it comes to the the miraculous gifts of the Spirit?
