Life always changes. Sometimes it changes for the good. Sometimes it changes for the bad. So when things go south for us we have to learn to be okay with our NEW NORMAL. Today we will learn how this plays out in the life of Joseph!

We all have times when life changes for the worse. Today as we begin talking about Joseph we will learn from him that no matter how bad things get God has not forgotten you. God is intricately involved in your life. Things may not make sense now but God is always up to something!

Abuse. School shootings. Drug dealers. Pimps. What is wrong with people? We don't understand what the problem is and David had that same question but today he will tells what REALLY is wrong with people!

God has a story and we are a part of it! Today we will see how this plays out in the life of Jacob because no matter what Jacob did he could not thwart the purpose of God. God is the greatest chess player of all time!

That person hurt you. They destroyed your reputation. They lied and got you fired. So how should you pray for them because Jesus said to pray for your enemies? But David goes a different direction today and He asks God to fight his enemies for him. To chase them down a slippery path. Make them fall into the pit they made for him. Can we do that? 

We know it's time to get right with the Lord when we say "enough is enough." I can't keep doing this. I can't keep living like this. Today Jacob FINALLY gets to this point and we will see by his example what we should do!

Think of all your blessings. Freedom, job, family, children, health, a roof over your head. Those are great things to be thankful for but what about what Jesus did for us? Do we stop long enough during our day to thank Him for what HE did for us? Join us today to see how thankfulness played out in David's life!

Jacob was on his way back home where his faith could flourish but instead he stopped along the way. That was a bad decision for him and his family but I think we have all done that at some point in our life. We stop going to church. Stop reading our Bible. Stop growing in our faith.
