With God At Dawn

When tribulation comes upon us, how many of us are like Jacob! We think it the hand of an enemy; and in the darkness we wrestle blindly until our strength is spent, and we find no comfort or deliverance.

God wishes us to have the mastery over ourselves. But he cannot help us without our consent and cooperation. The Divine Spirit works through the powers and faculties given to man.

There are no barriers which man or Satan can erect but that faith can penetrate. The blessings of salvation are for every soul. Christ desires us to trust in him. Nothing but his own choice can prevent any man from becoming a partaker of the promise in Christ by the gospel.

Soon I heard the voice of God, which shook the heavens and the Earth. I looked upon the company, who a short time before, we're in such distress and bondage. Their captivity was turned. A glorious light shown upon them. All marks of care and worry was gone.

The Savior longs to manifest his grace and stamp his character on the whole world. It is his purchase possession, he desires to make men free, and pure, and holy.

In all ages the savior's chosen have been educated and disciplined in the school of trial. They walked in narrow paths on Earth; they were purified in the furnace of affliction. For Jesus sake they endured opposition. They followed him through conflict.

Of every gift that God has bestowed leading Men to unselfish effort a record is kept in heaven. To trace this in its widespreading lines, to look upon those who by our efforts have been uplifted and ennobled, this will be one of the studies and rewards of the heavenly school.

That we may unite with Christ in this work, we should place ourselves under the molding influence of his spirit. Through the power that's imparted we may cooperate with the Lord in the bonds of unity as laborers together with him and the salvation of souls.

If the servants of God will walk with him in faith, he will give power to their message. They will be enabled so to present his love and the danger of rejecting the grace of god, that may will be constrained to accept the good news of the gospel.

During his ministry, Jesus devoted more time to healing the sick than to preaching. His miracles testified to the truth of his words, he came not to destroy, but to save.

What does it mean to keep something? we protect it, we provide for it, we nurture it, we cherish it. Paul kept the faith. the faith of Jesus, of the way the truth and the life. he was faithful to the end.

How often those who trusted the word of God, though in themselves utterly helpless, have withstood the power of the whole world.

The home is the child's first school, it is here that the foundation should be laid for a life of service. It's principles are to be taught not merely in theory. They are to shape the whole life training.

There's work for everyone to do. A voice from heaven is solemnly calling you to duty.

God wants youth to become men of earnest mind, to be prepared for action in his noble work, fitted to bear responsibilities.

We know not what line our children may be called to serve. They may spend their lives within the circle of the home; they may engage in life's common vocations, or go as teachers of the Gospel to heathen lands; but all are like called to be missionaries for God, ministers of Mercy to the world wherever they are called to be.

God takes me as they are, and educates them for his service, if they will yield l themself to him.

He is our Redeemer and he will not accept divided service, we cannot be partly for God partly for Satan. Daily the worker for God must learn the meaning of self surrender.

The opportunities that he has given us, the promises that he has made, the privileges that he has bestowed, should inspire us with far greater zeal and devotion.

Jesus took man's nature, that he might reach man's wants. The poorest and humblest were not afraid to approach him. He was never rude never needlessly spoke a severe word never gave needless pain to a sensitive soul. He did not censure human weakness. He came to save not to condemn.

The commonest tasks done with loving kindness are beautiful in God's sight.

Jesus has shown what righteousness consists of and he pointed to God as it's source. He turned to practical duties, In alms giving, in prayer, and fasting, he said let nothing be done to attract attention or praise to self. Give in sincerity for the benefit of others.

Consider the life of christ. Standing at the head of humanity, serving his father, he's an example of what every son should and maybe.

Paul told Timothy to preach the word not the sayings and customs of men and to be ready to witness for God whenever opportunity should present itself.

Intellectual power, physical stamina, and the length of Life depend upon immutable laws. Through obedience to these laws, man May stand conqueror of himself.
