We are not allowed to keep the material possessions we accumulate in this life. Don't spend your life chasing money and material things. Give your life to God! You won't regret it!

The book of Revelation was written around 2,000 years ago. This scripture has provided comfort for believers back, and it provides comfort for us today.

One of my members was dying of pancreatic cancer. He would often call me when he was looking for comfort. To encourage him, I would recite lyrics from the old hymn How Firm a Foundation . The truths written in that great hymn gave him peace in his time of need.

2 Chronicles 34:1-3 tells us that Josiah became king when he was 8 years old. What could you except of a child reigning as king? Josiah would have failed miserably, but his decision to serve God made the difference in his life and ministry.
