**Update 11.11.17: brought the duel organ back a bit in the mix. Finally got the drums to blend better. fleshed out the Morphine lead, sounds more like a 70's era Prophet synth now... new mix name/version is: WMvsKansas_SongForAmerica_11_1_F2_5 **Update 11.3.17: cleaned up the drums a bit and added a "sweet spot" 303 line that I think really adds to the original song and fits the overall mood and...

i always felt this track should be a metal song.... took score/midi for orchestra and scored three guitars, bass and drums... all progressive metal... 10,23.2017 Update: Pass 2, fixed some of the main tones and took the main "voice" slayer down an octave and worked the basslines a bit more ... cleaner and more defined now... blended the over mix a bit more

A first pass at a revival of this classic funk song by the Brothers Johnson. This track once again shows off the amazing modeled bass 'modo bass' by IKMultimedia, again i run various 'ghosting' midi based lines to greatly very the main bass line.... gives that off beat and or syncopated 'pop'

This project began as potential backing music for last years "Nova" and then took on life on its own as "N727" (a reference to the generation and mix number of the composition: Composition 7, Variation 2, Mix 7) Now with added epic piano lines it finds life on its own as a new entity which told me upon first listen: "I am to be called : 'The Gaia Circuit and the Tree of Life' " ... well it did......

Originally not released, 747 serves as "the backbone" for my Uber Epic "The Gaia Circuit and the Tree of Life... This is version of 747 brings up the piano in the mix... a lot...

After a while, you start naming for the song number in the catalog they are ;) ... ok name is deeper than that... This track is built around the original 'study' track for "Nova"... but honestly, it really is released song number 74X or 7XX, definitively in the 700s... I think this one has bit off in the spectrum of the mix, so I will be addressing that soon...
