This is a first pass at a very long time favorite song/band/album that had deep impact on me, my life, and of course "Wintermut3" I wanted to bring the harder edged post-punk, new-wave version together with the amazing Piano version and then grind them into and shape them into the dark and dystopian array of visages and descriptions that are in the lyrics as the new bass line that at times dominat...

Inspired by both the star and constellation (Southern Cross/Crux ) Pulled an all-nighter last night working this to this point--about 10 to 12 hours production in this so far--laid out the main bassline by hand note for note. Went for a very improvised "live" feel over all..

What is the colour of time, if you know why I used "colour" instead of "color" this might be the song for you... Update 1: Removed early piano completely--sorry, it just wasn't working for me... enough complaints and I will factor it back in maybe, but otherwise... "Thickened up" drums and backing synth as well as Basslines Update 2 added gothic style piano that complements guitar line

From the moment I heard the opening notes, I knew a version of this would be a "mover" on the dance floor... **Update 2 ** cleaned up the reverb in the kick (removed) this cleaned up the mix overall...

I bit more complex and house driven version that better explores the themes... imho. Future versions may be longer in time...
