Episode 40 - TNA Impact! - 4th June 2004 25.08.2024

For the first time ever, the co-hosts dip their toes into the convoluted and oftentimes maddening world of Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling. In another episode of "the first of" series, Scott and Holly add the inaugural episode of TNA Impact into the archives of the win twice reviews. Full disclosure, this is Holly's first time watching a TNA show and it happens to involve Vince Russo. I am sure it...

Episode 39 - WCW Thunder - 8th January 1998 19.08.2024

Continuing the theme of The First Ever series, the co-hosts pay a visit to 1998 WCW and the inaugural edition of Thunder. A lot had changed in the world of WCW in the three short years since the debut of Nitro and the fingerprints of the nWo were all over the product. Did Thunder capitalise on the success of Nitro or was it a cross to carry for the promotion that would ultimately see their demise?

Episode 38 - WWF Wrestlemania 14 (March Through The Manias) 11.08.2024

Back on the March Through The Manias series and the co-hosts stop off at Wrestlemania 14. This was a pivotal show for the federation as we saw the crowing of Stone Cold Steve Austin in the first Mania to take place in the Attitude Era. The Rock continued his meteoric rise up the card and we also get a stark reminder of just how popular Sable was in 1998.

Episode 37 - Progress Super Strong Style 16 2024 - Night One 04.08.2024

Having covered the heavy hitters of American professional wrestling in WWE/WWF, WCW, ECW and AEW, Episode 37 sees the co-hosts pay a visit to their local promotion, Progress Wrestling. Having attended the show in person, Scott and Holly wanted to shine a light on some of the top UK wrestling out there and hopefully draw some new eyes to the product.

Episode 36 - WWF Wrestlemania 13 (March Through The Manias) 22.07.2024

Episode 36 sees the co-hosts back on the March Through The Manias series and we stop off at an interesting point in the history of the Federation as they transition from the New Generation to the Attitude Era. Wrestlemania 13 featured perhaps one of the, if not THE greatest matches to grace the stage of the showcase of the immortals. But do Scott and Holly agree?

Episode 35 - WWF Saturday Night's Main Event - 11th May 1985 14.07.2024

The Win Twice DeLorean is once again in action as the co-hosts travel back to 1985 and the inaugural edition of Saturday Nights Main Event. Right in the heart of the rock and wrestling boom, SNME featured the likes of Hogan, Piper, Mr T and Cindy Lauper. Lots of shenanigans for Holly to roll her eyes at on this episode.

Episode 34 - WWF Wrestlemania 12 (March Through The Manias) 08.07.2024

The co-hosts return with the March Through The Manias series as they reach the marathon main event and Wrestlemania 12. A host of debutants for the Showcase of the Immortals and one incredibly unique match in a certain Hollywood backlot. With the dire show that came the year prior, would 12 return the federation to the heights on Mania 10?

Episode 33 - WWF Smackdown 29th April 1999 01.07.2024

As the co-hosts look to continue to pope various TV cherries, Episode 33 sees the pod tackle the inaugural edition of Smackdown when it was originally a UPN special. With the Attitude Era in full flow, how will Scott and Holly handle the car crash style of television presentation?

Episode 32 - Wrestlemania Recap I-X 23.06.2024

The co-hosts revisit the first stanza of the March Through The Manias series as they take a look at the highs and lows of the first ten editions of the Showcase of the Immortals. From the very good, to the very bad, Wrestlemania had it all and opened Holly's eyes to some historic moments in the history of the business. This journey will giveth and taketh away as the co-host would say.

Episode 31 - ECW Wrestling on TNN - 27th August 1999 16.06.2024

Continuing with the theme of first of its kind, the co-hosts revisit the land of extreme with ECW's inaugural outing on TNN. A relationship that in many ways was built to fail and a deal that would ultimately lead to the demise of Paul Heyman's Philadelphia based promotion.

Episode 30 - WWF Wrestlemania 11 (March Through The Manias) 10.06.2024

With a stop off on the March Through The Manias tour, the co-hosts arrive at Wrestlemania 11. With the Federation being at its lowest point financially, the showcase of the immortals reflected the depleted talent roster of the time. This was a main event that nobody could have predicted one year prior. Sadly, not even a couple of cowboys could have saved this show.

Episode 29 - WCW Monday Nitro 4th September 1995 02.06.2024

Having reviewed the debut edition of Monday Night RAW, Scott and Holly take a little trip to the inaugural episode of WCW Monday Nitro. Emanating from the Mall of America, how would the WCW effort compare to that of the Federation, but more importunately, what does Holly believe is a better suited restaurant for the Hulkster?

Episode 28 - WWF Wrestlemania 10 (March Through The Manias) 27.05.2024

Back to the March Through The Manias and back to Madison Square Garden. Wrestlemania 10 made for a great improvement over the dismal 9. Although the roster was thin, there were two outstanding matches on the night making it one of the better stop-offs on the journey so far.

Episode 27 - WWF RAW 11th January 1993 19.05.2024

For the twenty seventh episode of the pod, the co-hosts take a journey back to the very first episode of Monday Night Raw; a show that would go on to become the longest running weekly episodic show on tv. But on this night, Raw was "uncooked, uncut, and uncensored!" Rob Bartlett was there too.

Episode 26 - WWF Wrestlemania 9 (March Through The Manias) 12.05.2024

Oh dear. Finally the time has come where the co-hosts have reached the dreaded Wrestlemania 9 on the March Through The Manias journey. For a show that offered so little in terms of quality, it certainly overdelivered on interesting points of conversation and segues. Giant Gonzalez wasn't all that bad...

Episode 25 - WWF Backlash 2002 05.05.2024

For Episode 25 it was Holly's opportunity to elect a show and WWF Backlash 2002 was the pay-per-view of choice. This show falls well within the sweet spot for both co-hosts and despite Holly's attempts to take a break from the Immortal One, we still get treated to Hogan challenging for the WWF Undisputed title on this card.

Episode 24 - WWF Wrestlemania 8 (March Through The Manias) 28.04.2024

Back on the March Through The Manias and back to a stadium show, Wrestlemania 8 is perhaps considered one of the biggest wasted opportunities the federation let slip through their fingers. The highly anticipated showdown between Ric Flair and Hulk Hogan was not the eventual main event that was showcased on the night, With that being said, that did not mean that the entire show was a lost cause as...

Episode 23 - WCW Beach Blast '92 21.04.2024

A listener requested show sees the co-hosts venture into the world of WCW for the first time on the podcast. Beach Blast '92 featured a number of memorable matches and would mark the first time Holly has ever watched a WCW show. How will the Ted Turner financed organisation mark their first impression under her critical gaze? Oh Jesse, what have we done here?!

Episode 22 - WWF Wrestlemania 7 (March Through The Manias) 14.04.2024

Back on the March Through The Manias series and the co-hosts arrive at a very special event for Scott. A trip down memory lane, back when SilverVision VHS tapes kept him entertained for hours on end; simple times. This was his first Wrestlemania show and holds a special place within his heart. Does nostalgia carry this Mania further than others with it being his first, or does the review make it c...

Episode 21 - WWF Rebellion 2001 08.04.2024

For Episode 21, the podcast heads back to the shores of the UK as WWF Rebellion 2001 is brought to the table for the Win Twice dissection. Whilst shorter than your standard 3 hour PPV, the event was headlined by the biggest duo of the Attitude Era which would have been a real treat for the British fans.

Episode 20 - WWF Wrestlemania 6 (March Through The Manias) 31.03.2024

The Ultimate Challenge greets your co-hosts as they return to the March Through The Manias series on the podcast. Toronto's Skydome hosted Wrestlemania 6 with the first face vs face, title vs title, main event at the Showcase of the Immortals. How would the federation transition into the new decade with a new face-painted champion at the helm of the WWF juggernaut.

Episode 19 - ECW Living Dangerously 1999 24.03.2024

For the first time on the pod, the co-hosts dip their toes into the unsanitised pool of the Extreme as ECW Living Dangerously 1999 is brought to the table for dissection. This is the first ECW show that Holly has ever seen. How will your co-host cope with the grimy and gritty presentation of Paul Heyman's rabid bunch of grapplers?

Episode 18 - WWF Wrestlemania 5 (March Through The Manias) 17.03.2024

Back to the March Through The Manias series and the next stop sees the co-hosts visit Wrestlemania V. No tournament format this year (thankfully) although the scenery remained much the same. Back in the show's main event, Hogan would find himself in the unfamiliar position of challenger to the Macho Man for the WWF championship. One thing on this night was for certain, we would all witness the Meg...

Episode 17 - WWF Raw Is War 21st May 2001 10.03.2024

In a slight change of pace to the usual episodes, number seventeen sees the co-hosts veer away from the PPV/PLE format to take a look at one of the most infamous editions of Monday Night RAW in history. With four title matches on the show and a game-changing injury to boot, there is certainly a lot to unpack for a one hour and forty five minute televised show.

Episode 16 - WWF Wrestlemania 4 (March Through The Manias) 03.03.2024

Back to the March Through The Manias series the co-hosts go and the next stop on this journey was Wrestlemania 4. For all the good that Wrestlemania 3 did, 4 was certainly not a top tier event and felt like a step backwards for the promotion in many respects. With the podcast episode coming in at a little over three hours, it is safe to say that the PPV evoked strong feelings from Scott and Holly...
