Sure, but these are the kind of cultural phenoms we need to remind of to have a good time!

If you were worried about chaos taking over the nation, don't. There are a few big takeaways from the 'No Kings' protests this past weekend, and none of them are good for the people that wanted to make a big impact. Also, what do we know about the sicko who shot and killed a MN state rep and her hisband? And the events of the wekedn are having a pushback effect - patriotism is cool again. 

What do we know about the Israel/Iran conflict? Mot much, but what we want to know is our involvement. Also, there are certain areas that will put up with no riot nonsense this weekend and we know which ones. Senator Alex Padilla put on quite the political stunt but didn't quite get the play he hoped for. And it's Father's Day weekend! What do dads really want? 

What if a massive protest was planned and nobody cared? That's becoming the norm as Americans are realizing the 'No Kings' nonsense is inorganic and isolated. Also, immigrants who came here legally have rejected the protests in huge numbers. And RIP to music legend Brian Wilson - the good news is more people than ever will discover his work!

Apologies galore in the news - and I told you Elon and Trump would kiss and make up! Also, Gavin's presidential hopes may be burning up with the riots, Simone Biles issued a bif apology and that's huge for sanity. And ABC didn't exactly apologize for Terry Moran's unhiinged posts, but they did fire him. 

Whatever the organizers of the L.A. riots were hoping to achieve, it's not working. Updates on what Americans are seeing vs. what the media is saying, Marines deployed, and Trump immigration approval boost. Also, it appears Gen Z doesn't like alcohol, and why that's gtreat news for them and bad news for that industry. 

Right on schedule, the riots have begun - but everything feels very different this time around. The old propaganda words aren't sticking, but there's a way tp identify the new ones.  Plus, what are the cops on the street saying and this finally means an end to masks in mass gatherings. 

Jefferson vs. Adams, Mick vs. Keith, Captain America vs. Iron Man!...the list goes on and on of powerful figures who are in a cat fight, but here's the difference - they all want what's best for a common cause. Elon vs Trump is no different, and I'll make the case for this being a GOOD thing. Plus, here's another thing to feel good about - George Clooney shows that the democrats still don't  get t...

One last word on the budget bill (I promise): all this in-fighting is a good thing, Also, Chinese nationals caught developing an agro-weapon, yet Arizona's governor vetoes a bill preventing Chinese-owned farmland! And all the former politicians are writing books...and turning on each other. 

Through the complicated mess of the Big Beautiful Budgett Bill is one clear takeaway - more normal people than ever are aware of the debt spiral we're in. which means there will be a long-term solution. Elon and others' reaction plus the latest showy viral gender reveal has changed my tune on how I feel about them!

Congress gets back from fund-raising, I mean vacation today - willl they heed the public's demands for more DOGE cuts in the budget bill? Big cuts also coming for the Disney corporation ,and why that's a big change in American culture. Also, ICE agents' familes are being threatened and have begun covering their faces. Finally, remember when the media couldn't stop talking about the high egg prices...

Some trends you ignore and they go away. like Pride gear in retail stores. Other things you ignore and they end up with a terror attack in Boulder, Colorado. Let's let this be the final straw in tolerating hate. Also, moms are starting to protest for their femaile thletes in California, but they're facing an uphill battle. 

What if one of our politucal parties spent $20 million to win back young men and still didn't learn anything...that;s actually happening. Also, Elon's getting a press conference at the White House - does it mean he's still have influence with the administration? Jake Tapper continues his Biden Brain coverup tour, and Hawaii has a new tourism climate tax - enough to make you change vacation plans?

Who knows if the DOGE cuts will wind up part of the One Big Beautiful Bill, but one thing is clear - your voice has gotten the attention of politicians who will debate this thing. Also, one small step for healthy food - Skittles will be removing titanium dioxide. And Gen Z people are lonely and don't have much sex...who would know better than the CEO of Tinder?

What Can I Do? Plenty. The old phrase, 'call ypur elected representatives' has never been more relevant because the One Big Beautiful Bill is another bloated mess in its current form. Plus, time to airline shop. as Southwest joins the baggage fee bandwagon startimg today. And Tom Brady gives a great example of how to troll the trolls online!

We need to start appreciating trade schools, and President Trump's move against Harvard may be the start. Also, RIP Phil Robertson from Duck Dynasty, and why the media still doesn't understand why people like him matter. And a feel good story about a 13 year old girl who defeated an attacker with jiu jitsu...time to teach kids to fight!

We know it's important to honor the brave souls who fought for freedom, but remember - they would want you to enjoy this freedom, too. It's a balance. Also, Hillary Clinton resurfaced over the weekend with some hideous advice for a Memorial Day get-together. And the West Point vs. Wake Forest commencemnt addresses were like two different realities. 

Memorial Day Weekend is here and more Americans are on the road than at any point in history - good sign for the economy? Also, the House passed Trump's One Big Beautiful Bill but what do we know about it? And Springsteen is making his political rants available for download...I was wrong about him, he's unlistenable. 

International relations changed yesterday - by turning down the lights for a video, President Trump shined a light on atrocities in South Africa. Also, the free palestine movement is directly tied to the killing of two Israeli embassy workers in Washinngton, D.C. In lighter news, Pace University now has artificial intelligence read the names of graduates...am I all alone in thinking it's great?!

The No Tax On Tips 100-0 passage in the senate means if we care about an issue enough, our voices are heard. Also, Ho,e Depot took a really smart approach to tariffs - compare that to Walmart's bad press, and why did Rep. Nancy Mace show naked pics of herself in a house hearing? The reason surprised me.

Yesterday's news showed us a lot about who is good or bad at messaging: Ben Cohen of Ben & Jerry's (bad), The GOP (bad), The Pope (good), and HBO Max (maybe good!). The takeaway: we all have platforms with social media, learn from the good examples on how to get your message out. 

Artificial Intelligence has very quickly become a big part of our lives which means your people skills are at a premium. Plus Elon's big robot announcement, about Optimus robots, Jake Tapper is gaslighting us again about Biden's brain (and profitting from it), and Major League Baseball is doing the Hit King wrong by reinstating him after he's dead.
