We celebrate reaching the end of season one with an extra-sized (and extra boozy) episode. Cintra falls, so in solidarity, we all fall pretty hard for a bottle of Blade and Bow Kentucky Straight Bourbon. Valerie is thrilled for the return of Istredd and the debut of Vilgefortz (yay for magical eye candy!), Tim questions the usefulness of magicians and both demonstrate the value of a good bad pun.

The Geralt/Yennefer romance is over almost as soon as it begins and we console ourselves with a bottle of Kikori Whiskey. Valerie explains why all is not as it seems in Jaskier’s song, Tim declares his love for dragons (but his disappointment with the ones in this episode) and we all wonder just what the hell the doppler is doing.

Geralt meets Yennefer, and we get friendly with a bottle of Skrewball as we discuss one of season one’s most pivotal episodes. Tim has a really hard time saying the name “Chireadan,” while Valerie introduces her cohost to the world of hurt/comfort fanfic. And they both agree that when hosting a magical orgy, it’s very important to dress to impress.

We have a sweet time sipping Cabin Fever Maple Flavored Whiskey while discussing Geralt and Jaskier’s fateful night in Calanthe’s court. Tim questions the need for Ciri’s storyline while Valerie just wants to talk about Geralt’s love of chamomile and baths. Also, we mix things up with another surprise segment!

The monster at the heart of The Witcher’s third episode might be a nasty little number, but the same cannot be said for the Belle Meade bourbon we enjoy while discussing her. Tim declares his love and affection for Triss Merigold, while Valerie just wants our hero to drink some water (which probably would have been good advice for us as well). All this plus boning in the bone cave!!!

We bid Jaskier and Yennefer a hearty hello as we dive into The Witcher’s second episode, along with a bottle of Old Bardstown. Valerie surprises everyone with an unexpected segment, while Tim can’t get over Istredd’s weirdly macabre bachelor pad.

The Witcher gets off to a grand start, and we get off to a boozy one as we drink Polish Rye Whiskey (that’s literally the whiskey’s name—“Polish Rye Whiskey”) and toast Geralt’s inaugural adventure.
