April 7, 2021: Bright Jupiter and Saturn are in the southeast before sunrise.  The moon is low in the southeast, to the lower right of Jupiter.  Find a clear horizon to see it.  Today daylight is 13 long from Chicago’s latitude.  After sunset, find Mars about halfway up in the west, below the Bull’s horns. April 6, 2021: This morning, the moon, Jupiter, and Saturn are low in the southeast before sunrise.  The lunar crescent is 4.7° to the lower right of Saturn, while Jupiter is 12.5° to the lower left of the Ringed Wonder. April 6, 2021:  Find Mars in the west after sunset.  It is approaching the Bull’s horns.  Mars, not as bright as it was a few months ago, is in a sea of the bright winter stars. April 5, 2021:  The thick crescent moon, Saturn, and Jupiter are lined up in the southeastern sky this morning.  Mars is in Taurus after sunset.

April 4, 2021: This morning the Last Quarter moon is near Sagittarius.  Jupiter and Saturn are moving eastward in Capricornus.  During the evening, Mars is marching eastward through Taurus, below the Bull’s horns.
