What a sweet scripture passage this is. God kept his promise and Abraham and Sarah were blessed with a son, Isaac. I love the phrase “and the Lord did to Sarah as he had promised.” We serve a mighty, loving God. Think today of a promise God has kept in your life and offer Him praise now.

Once again, Abraham takes control of a situation and lies about his wife, Sarah. Why did he feel the need to lie? What were his concerns? Fear can cause us to be less than honest.
