John Astafan is a local guy who is in commercial real estate. That's not what this is about. He had a really great friend (Justin Runkles) past away suddenly who impacted not only his life but other people I know. The benefit will raise money that continue Justin's positive impact on people's lives. The money will put some deserving person through trade school.

Johnny Pepe is the founder and head coach of the Watertown Area Boxing Club. He coaches beginners through professionals. I trained under him for a local boxing event that he puts on every year called the battle of the badges. He's a very humble and caring guy, it seems that everything he does he has someone else in mind.

Jason is the cofounder of a very cool and growing local festival up here in Northern New York called Brew Fest. He wanted to bring something fun to the area and he sure did that! They've had big name bands and breweries at the festival. This year they're calling it Homegrown and pulling the biggest local names in NY.

I made a radio commercial for the car dealership that I work for and mention that " we have some many trucks that the local folks are buying , it looks like the parking lot of a Josh Cox and the Rattle Snakes concert." Shawn Massey is well known in the local area of Watertown NY as the Furniture Guy. He's the owner of Massey's Furniture Barn and several other businesses under the Massey brand. His advertisement is next to none locally and really stands out in radio, tv, and social media.

I first saw Jason giving a speech at my daughter's graduation. A few months later I met him at my Father Inlaw's funeral where he was the director. We had some interesting conversations and connected right away. He's a laid back down to earth guy with a passion for helping others. He'll give very valuable insight to the funeral industry in this podcast.

I saw Matt Clark's standup comedy show a few years ago and just had to meet him because he's a FUNNY guy. He does a great vlog on Facebook with his wife Backyard with the Clarks where they have a great time making cocktails in their backyard. They are also the entrepreneurs behind the award winning Black Tie cocktail syrup.
