From 2005 - A preview of a Science Night presentation about the Costa Rican Rain Forest at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside. The guests are Dr. Gregory Mayer, Professor of Biology at UW-Parkside -  and Eric Hileman, who was with the Racine Zoological Society at the time.  Hileman, a UW-Parkside graduate, is now a professor at Mississippi State University. 

As a follow up to Thursday's Morning Show with Dr. Sandra Moats, Professor of History at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside, we are sharing a previous interview with Professor Moats from 2009 -  this time talking about her book "Celebrating the Republic:  Presidential Ceremony and Public Sovereignty from Washington to Monroe."

We preview the upcoming PBS documentary series "American Veteran" with consulting producer Kelly Kennedy (who is herself a veteran as well as a journalist.)

Pasqual Laurino, Music Director of the Racine Symphony, previews the RSO's upcoming Fall Masterworks Concert on October 30th titled "A Night in Venice," which will feature the music of several different Italian composers, including the great Antonio Vivaldi.

For many years,  Obie Yadgar was most of the best-known 'voices' of classical music radio programs in the Midwest,  with stints at both WFMR in Milwaukee and WNIB in Chicago.   His book "Will's Music" was initially published in 2005.   I am guessing that this interview was done around that time.
