This week, we are repeating some of our most noteworthy author interviews from 2022.  Today is an interview that initially aired in August 2022 with Jason Reid, author of "Rise of the Black Quarterback: What it means for America."

Bill Schutt: "Pump: A Natural History of the Heart."  The book examines the human heart and how it functions, but also explores the heart of widely diverse creatures of the animal kingdom.   It also traces the history of humankind's understanding (and misunderstanding) of the heart and its function.

For Nan Calvert's December visit to the Morning Show, we have John Holloway, chairman of the town of Paris, which is the site of a new and exciting solar farm.  

Ken Wiele, a highly regarded high school band director from Kenosha Unified, has taken up nature photography in his retirement ...  and has a beautiful book that collects some of his finest work and combines it with his mother's poetry has just been released in a second edition.

We preview the Racine Theater Guild's production of THE LITTLE MERMAID, which opens tonight (Dec. 9) and runs for two weekends.  We also talk with George Baumgardt, co-founder and director of the Spirit of Racine Music Makers,  a group of vocalists and instrumentalists who are performing a Christmas concert on Sunday afternoon, December 11th, at 2:30 at The Convenant.
