The unveiling of the man of sin. The Day of Christ will not come unless: 1. The Falling Away comes first 2. The Man of sin is "unveiled."

(Romans 8:5) For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.

"For what was impossible for the law to do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh..."

Today we look at 2 laws: The Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus, And the Law of Sin and Death. Both are invisible, like the law of gravity, but real nevertheless. (Romans 8:2) "For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set me free from the law of sin and of death."

"There is therefore no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus." But the verse goes on, if you have a genuine Bible: "...who do NOT walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit." Today we'll look at the implications of that statement.

Once again, we look at this spiritual "law," that when I wish to do the right thing, that evil is present (right there with me.) Also, Paul says, "I myself with the mind serve (doulos) the law of God, but with the flesh the law of sin." (7:25)

"Therefore I find this law, that when I wish to do the right thing, evil is right there with me."

"For I know that in me, that is, in my flesh, NOTHING GOOD DWELLS." (7:18) Man is a 3 part being: Body, Soul, and Spirit

"For sin, taking opportunity through the commandment, DECEIVED ME, and by it, killed me."

Rev 13 says, "he deceives those who dwell on the earth by the signs that were granted him to do." The False Prophet will be the most notorious agent of God this world's ever seen, to separate the wheat from the tares, the believers from the unbelievers.

Free and Slave. Romans 6:16 tells us that we are slaves to whom we obey, whether sin resulting in death, or obedience resulting in righteousness.

Today we continue our study on the theme of serving someone: For us, it's either sin, or righteousness. "Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves as obedient slaves, you are slaves to whom you obey, whether of sin resulting in death, or of obedience resulting in righteousness?" (Rom 6:16)
