"For through the law, I died to the law, so that I might live for God." The law served its rightful purpose--it was Paul's schoolmaster, or guardian (and ours) to lead us to Christ. (Gal 3:24)

Today Paul encourages us to forget those things which are behind, seeing that we have been crucified with Christ. Gal 2:17-18  But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, [is] therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid.  (18)  For if I build again the things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor.
