Phil Simms joins us in his Wednesday spot and we started with the rift in the Eagles lockerroom between Jalen Hurts and AJ Brown. We also talked about Bill Belichick potentially going to UNC because NFL owners don’t seem interested in him. Boomer asked Phil if he thought Bill would bring LT in to work with him. Phil does not. We also talked a lot about Sam Darnold’s resurgence in Minnesota.

The Yankees signed pitcher Max Fried and Boomer thanked Brian Cashman for getting him out of the NL East. Gio is worried how he will perform coming from a smaller market in Atlanta.

Suzyn is not shocked by Juan Soto leaving the Bronx.

Bill Belichick has been so unpredictable since leaving New England. He is all over the media, he has a 24 year old girlfriend, and he’s interviewing for a college head coaching job. Boomer thinks Belichick already has a skeleton staff ready to go. Boomer wants the Giants to hire him.

Joe B is very happy to have Juan Soto joining the New York Mets.

Steve Cohen wanted Juan Soto and would not be denied. This is about more than just the money, Juan Soto chose the Mets over the Yankees. Money aside, all other reasons aside, Juan Soto chose the Mets because he wanted the Mets. Regardless, Chris says Hal should have matched the Mets offer.
