The First-Century Church was highly generous towards one another. God's grace transformed the Christians to show grace by giving their possessions.

Are you actively inviting people unlike you into God's plan for the world? Or are you playing a game of exclusivity? Jesus warns us that we may be surprised that those we have excluded will be inside God's kingdom. [Luke 13:22-30]

Jesus wants the Sabbath to be seen as a celebration and spreading of His intended world. Once we understand the value of the Sabbath, we can spread His good world to those around us! [Luke 13:10-21]

In recent history, Christians have used Luke 13:3 as a way to condemn people who are not followers of Jesus. However, upon a closer look, Jesus is offering a warning to those who focus their attention on taking back blessings by force. So what does this mean for us today? [Luke 13:1-9]

Amid thousands of people, Jesus pulls aside his disciples to warn them of hypocrisy. This was ultimately a lesson on loyalty to God. Are we afraid to take a stand for God? [Luke 12:1-12]

It's easy to criticize the Pharisees for missing the point. However, is it possible that Christians are the present-day Pharisees? [Luke 11:44]
