If you were to build a house, would you only build a foundation? OF course not, you would build on that foundation to create a strong house. That is what God does in growing us as we surrender and submit to Him.

As Christians we are not fighting for victory, we are fighting from victory. It has already been assured by the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ

Why does Paul call it a wrestling match? We need to know not only our opponents, but their tactics as well in order to have victory

What does Paul mean when he says we wrestle against principalities? How is our nation being shaped the same way the Greeks shaped the world in the 300’s B.C.

Knowing we have an enemy is only half the Bible. We need to know his tactics. In this sermon, we see who Satan and the fallen angels are and what they try to do.

We have a real enemy, and we need to know where the battle begins

We need to realize that there is an unseen war raging around us and in us. However, we can have victory through surrendering in faith to Jesus

David cried out for God to save him, protect him, and watch over him. His basis is trusting in God alone.

What does it mean to be forsaken by God? Is it possible for a Christian to be forsaken today?

What does it mean that Jesus is the cornerstone? How can we know that we have trusted Jesus as our Savior?

We often focus on the cross and the return of Jesus. And while those are important, we must understand that Jesus is still working in our life now.

So often we try to fight in our own strenght, but the battle has already been won. It was won by Jesus on the cross and through the resurrection.

There are two questions that we need to ask. First, who/what is the ultimately authority in my life? Second, who am I worshipping with my life? Jesus is King, we don’t make Him King, It is up to us to surrender and submit to Him in all areas of my life

Does God change His mind? The Bible tells us no He doesn’t. But can we change God’s intended actions as we respond in repentance and obedience?

How should Christians respond when we fail and fall into sin? How does God look at us in those moments?

While Satan tries to accuse Christians when we sin, we can remember the faithfulness of God to His promise to those He has saved

As hard as it is to hear, sometimes God has to bring us the knowledge of our sin so that we will repent.

Does God accept all worship or is there a particular form of worship that God prefers? What about our life, does it matter to God?

Is there a difference between repenting and being sorry? How can we know which we are doing?
