Michaels takes us back to the time his friends Tony Soprano-esque dad asked him to commit identity theft for a chemistry class.

His dad being part of the Philidelphia 9, and the bright side for him was watching how their neighbors and Quakers all rallied around his family and all the Philedelphia 9 and eventually cleared their name.

His wife wanted a horse, which was a big learning curve, but having a partner is about being better today then you were yesterday...a should out to Linda for being his bright side.

Thinking of the bright side of death, when his mom died he found journal pages all over, he spent a few years with a write friend putting it togehter he got the nerve to give it to his dad, who had been divorced from his mom when she died. The time her heard the best bar band in America. He sat next to someone at the bar that explained human behavior, maybe he was drunk, but on the bright side...it was Bruce Springstien.

The time she was moving out of her condo and got locked in a closet. After waiting a while her Gen Z neighbors heard her and got her out. On the bright side, even though she felt "old" for getting trapped in her closet, she did get her entire deposit back.

After a long day of work, she decides to go into the hot tub. While she's going out, her cat gets into a wild fight with another cat. Patty tries to break it up with her towel leaving her buck naked. The bright side is her cat was find and to her knowledge no one saw her in her "birthday suit".

The 2 times she stayed up all night. The first night was the time her exboyfriend and she went to a Party and he left with another woman, leaving her to stay up all night to get the train. The 2nd was a few months later, when she decided to go out after 11pm, she tried to avoid seeing her ex and went to another bar, and ran into him anyways. Basketball tryouts at 11, he really thought even though he didn't know the game that well, he would get on the team. When he didn't, the bright side was that he learned he likes individual sports.

The time his family went to Ireland and the profound sleep deprevation with their kids. Jet lag is real. He realizes now that if he hadn't gone to the only college in California UC Riverside, he wouldn't have met his wife and wouldn't have enjoyed that jet lag.

The time his friend Joey's dad a union head at Ford made a deal that IF he took a class on behalf of Joey at the Jr College, he would give him a job at the Ford. On the bright side years later he learned that Joey went on to his career and was successful.
