At our tailgate prior to the Maryland game, John had the chance to talk with Walt Versen and Roland Mesa, the Executive Producer and Director respectively of an upcoming documentary about 6 Northwestern Offensive Linemen who found themselves as the security detail for one of the hottest Rock and Roll groups of all time, Queen.

October is over and your Northwestern Wildcats are 4-4. After a great win against Maryland, we look ahead to this weekend's game against Iowa at Wrigley Field where there's a very good chance the final score may be just like a baseball score.

In a game where the NU defense did everything they could to keep the Cats in it, it's a shame that the offense collapsed the way they did. Back breaking penalties, porous protection, and mental mistakes kept Northwestern out of the end zone. Now, with Maryland coming to town, we will see if this team can bounce back and get some momentum going into November.

With the NU Bye week coming smack dab in the middle of the season, we took this opportunity to sit down with 2/3 of the Editors-in-Chief of InsideNU to get a greater sense of where the Cats are and take the temperature of the program moving forward.

The annual FCS game can get a little nervey and this year was no different. It was a great day for Homecoming and Northwestern came away with the W. It would be easy to look at this game and see just another Wildcat struggle with an FCS team, but it's not quite that simple.

Northwestern gave Penn St. everything it could handle in the first half and into the second before Penn St. started to pull away.
