1 Corinthians 2:1-16 1. God’s Wisdom Is Hidden from the World (vv. 6–9) 2. God’s Wisdom Is Revealed by the Spirit (vv. 10–13) 3. God’s Wisdom Is Received by the Spiritual (vv. 14–16)

The passage today is 1 Corinthians 1:18-31. God’s Wisdom Is Revealed in the Cross (vv. 18–21) God’s Power Works Through What the World Despises (vv. 22–25) God Chooses the Lowly to Display His Glory (vv. 26–29) Our Boast Is in the Lord Alone (vv. 30–31)

John 16:12–15 provides the background for this exploration of relationship with God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. The response then is a dive into holiness and sanctification.

We read Ezekiel 37 and Acts 2 this morning as we celebrate Pentecost.
