Humility in motion...what does it look like in our everyday lives? James 4.11 - 5.12 gives us a great picture of humility in aspects of our life we face every single day. We hope this encourages you as you keep chasing humility - we are running alongside you!

In this week's Sweet Sanity message from the book of James, our text syncs up well with our church theme of 'Chasing Humility' for this ministry year. The text of James 4.1-10 gives us helpful warnings as we pursue humility, and reminds us of the JOY of seeing Christ do what only He can do as He lifts us up in our pursuit!

Have you ever looked back on a decision and realized it wasn't such a wise choice after all? This week, we'll look to the book of James to learn how to gain wisdom. Let's learn what wisdom IS and what wisdom is NOT.

This week we take a look at 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 as we see the hope that God gives in hard times. We also celebrate together the faithfulness of God as we celebrate 57 years of West Bridge Church! 

As we kick off 2023 together (again), and start to form our new goals/routines for the year, we check out Psalm 103 to learn to bask in the presence of our Lord and let His presence fuel us in our pursuit of humility.

This week we kickoff our Christmas message series called, "What just happened?" As we bask in the beauty of our Lord's coming, we pray this will fuel us towards humble service, overflowing from hearts full of worship! 

Words have such power. James spends quite some time addressing this problem and issuing warnings so we understand the seriousness of this topic. The hard part isn't going to be listening to what James says but doing what he calls us to do. We pray you find encouragement in this week's message to have a changed heart leading to changed words. 

If you're going through a season when it's hard to be grateful, we hope you'll be encouraged as we focus on the hope we have in Christ alone, an inheritance that is undefiled and unfading for all eternity.

This week we take a look at what the Bible has to say about one of the biggest stressors within a family. However, when we use some biblical guidelines, we can turn the stressor into an opportunity to glorify God as a family and enjoy His goodness!

What is our goal with parenting? Do we work to bring glory to God or to ourselves? We may not always get it right, in fact, we certainly won't, but God's Word is our guiding force. This week we will be in Deuteronomy 6 to hear what God tells his people. It's not complicated, it's actually quite relieving to know what God commands and it will help us in all areas, not just parenting.

This is the first week of our new message series called "THRIVE". We are aimed at helping families maneuver life together and THRIVE in Christ! This week we start by looking at Ephesians 5.1-2 for wisdom in processing the hurt in life and restoring relationships.
