Spent some time this week going through some old songs. Always an interesting experience. Was picking out songs I may want to revisit. Found some that had potential but needed a lot of love. This one has a lot of percussion I played live, tongue drum, talking drum, djembe, shekere. Then various other tracks from the original and new ones I added this week. All that is a challenge to mix. The origi...

Awesome collaboration with Endojo and JWH this week, I did dig out a jam with Niko then asked in the discord channel if anybody would like to throw some vocal lines on it and damn Endojo didn't dissapoint!!! Then I added some synth bass, it was cool but did feel that it deserved some "real live performance" so I did reach out to Josh (JWH) for a bass line and he did send me a very c...

Arrrrrrrrrgh scrogneugneu I need more tiiiiiime xD, but rules are rules :) This one started with me showing the m8 to a friend on discord and creating what he called a "Hotline Miam-ish" sequence. I built a somewhat coherent track but I feel there are lots of things to fix everywhere. Still, I placed little nuggets of fun and I liked both the process and the result, especially since it&#...

amenbreakvst on nearly everything with nedrush lucky16 on top. hastily arranged, barely coherent, probably too long, but hey - very core. an appropriate burst of energy needed after exhaustion from two very busy weeks at work. 2026 CC Attribution Noncommercial No Derivative Works (BY-NC-ND)

Jammed out this one quickly.... just working on moving and unpacking this weekend finally! Had some other ideas but threw most of it away and just started with that little string loop in the middle, then fleshed it out from there. Still don't have my studio monitors or anything else set up yet, so just a quick one with Bitwig and soft synths. 2026 CC Attribution Share Alike (BY-SA)

Title is "Shifted", but typed with my hands shifted one key over. Felt that was a fitting title. Sunvox this week, short and sweet. 2026 CC Attribution Share Alike (BY-SA)

Wasn't feeling this one, but hope you enjoy it regardless. And yes, these descriptions keep getting shorter somehow... WB fatigue finally setting in? Or maybe it's the jetlag. Video: SoundCloud: https://soundcloud.com/jankyjams/blacklight-sunset 2026 Copyright All rights reserved

Please don't look at the bald spots. Messing around with the new comb filter in M8. Also had the delay and reverb set to some unusual settings. Ringing filters galore. All M8 synthesis and arrangement. A hair of mastering in Logic. Comb through the M8 bundle 2026 CC Attribution Noncommercial (BY-NC)

Hope you are all doing well! My mother-in-law was in town this past week, we hadn't seen her for a few years so most of our free time was spent with her. Little time left for music. I've been longing for nature lately, as I have pretty much stayed in the city all summer. So yesterday we took the day to walk around the botanical garden in Montreal. The yearly lantern exposition had just s...

Well, looks like I have secured a 2 year lease. It's actually got a separate ADU that I can use as a studio so I am looking forward to having a dedicated studio space. I will start moving in a couple of weeks to start this new phase. Once I get settled I have two years to figure out where to grow roots as this is a lot more than I really want to spend long term. I think I am going to take som...

Hello. Hope you're doing well. › Production notes‹ Production notes I was pretty fried this week from life stuff, so this track is a short sketch with some ideas I'd like to push further in the future. I have been pretty averse to writing melodies this year. They're hard -- it's hard to know when my decisions sound good (and also hard to visualize them on the M8). I...

Some voice nonsense. Still got an ear full of goo, though urgent care said it's probably just remnant fluid at this point, but the fact that my left ear isn't working right is bothersome and only mildly worrying. Anyway, did some vocals on this and didn't love it, but here it is! 2026 Copyright All rights reserved

Another week for collaborating hooray! › Tamagotchi‹ TamagotchiFeed me, your Tamagotchi lover See me, I'm going under cover Read me, I'll never love another (Feat. I've been diving back in to techno (more than 10 years agò I was living in Berlin and it was the best), I watched various videos about gears and ideas, I really liked watching stuff made with boxes from elektron or torso, and since I don't want to buy a new one I've been testing ways with move and of course the m8, initally the move (hacked) felt like a nice home for it, tons of coo...

A straightforward beat, why the hell not. Some randomization though! The choppy piano gets the pattern shuffled in several places, the granular delay on the strings samples random chunks of the buffer (this is real subtle tho), same with the wavescan on the music box sample. 2026 CC Attribution Share Alike (BY-SA)

An instrumental this week. Just threw some things together ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. 2026 CC Attribution Noncommercial Share Alike (BY-NC-SA)
