Week 38 - Daisy - Goodbye to Summer 20.09.2026

Week 38 - gify - Stopover 20.09.2026

Plan A - Do Weekly Beats on my flight home and upload before the deadline. Plan B - Plane has to land in a different city because we need to refuel due to unexpected headwinds (sus), and upload my track from the tarmac because I now may not make it home before the deadline. :P Threw together this little DnB track on my flight. I went to the Synthesizer Museum in Berlin this week and got to play wi...

Week 38 - evanericksonmusic - I Kissed This Girl Last Week 20.09.2026

Wrote this in 45 minutes while I had a migraine and was waiting for a med to kick in. All done on M8 ios. Sample is from a girl I have just started dating. It’s nice when your filters leave you with someone ok with who you are right now. It’s nice to be kissing girls again. 2026 Copyright All rights reserved

Week 38 - Lizenn - We Were Kids (But You're 38 Now) 20.09.2026

Hiya ! Still grabbing on the challenge, had no idea what to do, so I tried to make some ambient and ended up somewhere else, using the "Soraboy" vst for the gameboy sound that I really wanted to have here. So here I am with my usual nostalgic slop :DD Yay, lotsa love an' kisses ! 2026 Copyright All rights reserved

Week 38 - .exe - Nothing 20.09.2026

M8, Kaoss Pad NTS-3. Apologies for the poor recording quality. I was busy the past couple of weeks. This is me getting back on that horse again. I am trying to be better about doing a short song even when I'm busy. I collected a bunch of unused good instruments from my songs this year and I'm just messing around with them. I also have a new MIDI controller and I'm playing around wit...

Week 38 - 2haf - #112 20.09.2026

Week 38 - jegasus - It's Just Too Much 20.09.2026

Feeling super beat down this week. Haven't been able to participate in the community at all, barely touched my music. This is a song that was almost entirely done another week because I wasn't able to work on anything significant this week. Wishing y'all better weeks ahead, friends. Week 38 - BTS - Cumulonimbus 20.09.2026

I ended up creating a track without an obvious rhythm element, and I think it turned out well. I started by creating some motif and chordal progressions to build up different blocks. I then went and build out what ended up being the main element of the piece, the dubby, Bill Laswell style bass. After building out the pad pieces, I arranged the piece and added effects. There were storms that rolled...

Week 38 - dreat - Petal Dance (collab with LeCroqueMonsieur) 20.09.2026

To make the most of the very hectic week, I asked LeCroqueMonsieur for a collab. I gave him drums and title idea (which I'm keeping even if he won't :D ), he did the rest, we did communicate with some back and forth Definitely will do it again sometime when I (and LCM) have more time Cool stuff ended up happening regardless :D 2026 Copyright All rights reserved

Week 38 - Apticx - Neon Impasse 20.09.2026

Hello everyone, hope life is treating you all well. The move is going well, yesterday we got most of the furniture done and today we started filling the living room furniture with books, consoles, bluerays and all kinds of things. Its starting to look really nice and most importantly, the horrible reverb of an empty room is finally going away. Eating Pizza and watching a Anime episode in the new l...

Week 38 - miraclemiles - Smarter26 20.09.2026

Hey, happy middle to end of September. I like this month. Good weather in the Pacific NW US where I am. Transitions happening. This week revisiting a past song to make it better. In part because of time, and in part because I have really enjoyed doing it recently. Remixing and improving where I can. I like the process. This was one of the first ones I did tongue drum on. Vocals through a talkbox e...

Week 38 - Sir Bunting - Theta Wilderness 20.09.2026

This week's scale is Alt Dominant or Super Locrian All Sharps. This is the first time I used the new version of Audacity and the first time I used the Nokia soundfont. The time signature is 15/16 2026 CC Attribution Noncommercial No Derivative Works (BY-NC-ND)

Week 38 - eleventhstage - In Finite Capacity For Hope 20.09.2026

Once again joining in on the discord based WBFSC. This time around all samples provided were vocal in some way. This week was a struggle timewise and motivation wise. I ended up combining a previously started ableton idea, an idea written in the small amount of spare time I had at work this week, and some of the vocal samples as inspiration/connective tissue. Had to scramble on the Sunday to combi...

Week 38 - Tone Matrix - Prismatic 20.09.2026

› notes‹ notes Welp.  The doctor appointments were slightly disappointing. The neurosurgeon basically speed-tawked thru the appointment like he was part of a pit crew. Wants me to get 3 more MRIs in 6 months.  So more waiting unfortunately. The cardiologist put me on some new meds that have yet to take effect as the afib monster appeared on my burfday and this morning. ...

Week 38 - mwmwmw - my affect 20.09.2026

in creating this i was trying to undo a bunch of bad habits that were holding me back stuff like, having too much competing in the mix, and parts that are too loud, etc. what i've concluded is that you must decide what is important and then de-emphasize the rest and know, like cooking, all the hidden flavour still adds to the whole, even if it's not jumping out 2026 CC Attribution Noncom...

Week 38 - spry - Have You Ever Heard (WB38) 20.09.2026

Brain is busy. Had to use the other parts this week. Spent about 30 minutes writing most of this without listening to it, then about 15 minutes adjusting some levels before printing it out. 2026 Copyright All rights reserved

Week 38 - LeCroqueMonsieur - Petal dance 20.09.2026

A collab with the one and only @dreat who was very busy this week and put the initial stone of this collaboration. On Monday evening he sent me the drum “klicky” parts in 7/4 at 135bpm and I worked on the arrangement and recording of the other parts with dreat’s inputs. Quite honestly this week was very dry creation-wise so I had to push through to get to something (you escaped a jazzy version) an...

Week 38 - qp - TSO-10 20.09.2026

I've been trying to get back in to the routine of producing and engaging here again but it has been challenging. New track with mostly new libraries. Been fighting a lot with kontakt this week. Tried to make something less "repetitive" and more progressive than usual while also trying out new sounds. I wish you all a nice week. 2026 Copyright All rights reserved

Week 38 - kydlo - Liquid rays of the sun 20.09.2026

Another sketch, I made a version of this and didn’t hit record, so this is take 2. Performed live (from loops) no edits after. 2026 Copyright All rights reserved

Week 38 - Jazzaria - Battling Large Metro Gnomes 20.09.2026

The gnomes - desiring more than the garden life - have rebelled. Unassuming, yet surprisingly agile, they united in common cause against their oppressors. Their demand - the right to an urbane urban lifestyle, and all it entails. Featuring bass clarinet versus a loud metronome. 2026 CC Attribution Noncommercial No Derivative Works (BY-NC-ND)

Week 38 - embix - Retrograde 20.09.2026

Had a movie scene with some pads in my mind, so something short and kinda cinematic this time. 2026 Copyright All rights reserved

Week 38 - neon liminal - ROSY OTTER 20.09.2026

Yes, generally when titles are ALL CAPS and seem random it's cuz the M8 chose for me and I think it's adorable. Otherwise this was a bad week. Trip Hop #2 from the M8, which while fun, is kinda falling short on the "sound", which is my fault and not the M8's, mostly because I can't bring myself to ignore the M8's synths and modulation and they get a little too mo...
