This track is very random. I wanted to try some more M8 sound design and decided to work exclusively on the iOS app. - I tried to make strings and it seemed promising at first but I ended up either making it worse or I misremember how promising they seemed at the start. Yowza. - I also wanted to make a vocal pad but it turned out way too much for my patience on the M8. Need to get better at workin...

Hi gang! We are back with some housey vibes. The last weeks were super tough motivation wise. Lets push through the last quarter of the year! :) cheers 2026 CC Attribution Noncommercial Share Alike (BY-NC-SA)

More traveling, more sampling, more collaborating : ) Tried to mess with the limiter and OTT on the M8, still have more to learn on that front for sure. Had a harder time taming the mix for this one but overall it was a fun process working out the structure and slicing up different parts for it › Getaway‹ GetawayDriving upstate just to get down Running away just to feel how you can&#03...

So the gig happened last Tuesday, here is a quick mix edit of one of the parts! Pretty lose playing here too but, eh, no false notes? 2026 CC Attribution Noncommercial (BY-NC)

This one is a bit on the simpler side; I didn't do much prep and I didn't have much inspiration and I didn't want to fight with my ideas. Even still, I went through several iterations of The Idea before I sliced off enough of the things that didn't work to get a core part. A bit of guitar, some more Digitakt drums through the Bad Mood again (but simpler this time, less chaotic)...

Currently on my last day of a short vacation, I left all musicmaking equipment at home and the computer I started this project has more plugins than the one I currently have, so this sloppy early mix should do. Checking this one on earbuds while converting it to MP3 in the last second. The arrangement was kind of unfinished but... I'm happy I had some vacations, finally. Lots of love to all o...

Sketched on the Dirtywave M8 and completed in ableton. This is the second track I was working on before a big break of many weeks. 2026 Copyright All rights reserved

Written entirely on the Dirtywave M8 Tracker. Light mastering in Audacity (normalizing/limiting/compressing). A continuation of last week's track's outro, whose intro was the previous week's outro, whose intro was the previous week's outro, whose... This track is therefore part of an ongoing series that started in week 4. You can listen to the Through the Year mix (WB #4–39) (a...

I went back to PaulStretch for a more atmospheric piece. And since we're heading into October, I thought a more unsettling piece might be appropriate. I picked a sample, then rendered it three times at different pitch shifts. I then took the samples into Reason, where I built the basic atmosphere. I then grabbed two copies of Massive, one for textural pad and the other for a sequence. After s...

oddly enough, as the third week in a row i am doing m8 whatnot with this being the first not marked "trash" of the speed variety, the actual save file for this is "trash_128bpm" 2026 Copyright All rights reserved

I started making this song about 22 years ago. I didn't finish. Eventually I lost samples. I never lost interest. I never lost my chords, I did not drop the melody. I held onto the thread. I retained grasp of the files through 3 stays in a psych ward, 10+ moves around "the mainland" -- this is my main mix.. You know, I'm tired of it, though: Down With Groove, Honest, I Resist Y...

Happy to post something this week. keep it up ppl. cya.. 2026 CC Attribution Share Alike (BY-SA)

A short song this week. No inspiration, busy evenings and a busy weekend. I finished something quickly on Sunday evening. The initial instrument has a weird "friction" to it, produced by using a very fast delay (fastest possible by m8 standard at 150 bpm). Played around with tempo changes a bit too. It works. Could be longer by exploring a bit more, but I don't have enough time for...

The Peavey Invective, and a whole bunch of silly riffs. Had no idea about the bass this week, just becasue physically incapable of playing closely to the guitar parts. 2026 CC Attribution Noncommercial (BY-NC)

Something the same but different this time, not so much of a melody but an attempt at a very hands on techno track with some polyrhythm pitch fuckery, maybe a bit of a hocket sorta thing? I dunno, I had fun, and this really leans into the available FM instrumentation without the usual sorta tricks I employ. One knob was harmed in the making of this :( pour one out for it 2026 CC Attribution Noncom...

I took less than 1 hour at the end of the week to make this, and I'm really glad I did. It was a fun little quest and it's fun to play guitar with it. Hope you had a great week! 2026 CC Attribution Noncommercial No Derivative Works (BY-NC-ND)

Heading into the last quarter, hope everyone is still having fun, lets keep going.  Still some decent weather outside, I wanted to make music in the backyard so this week everything was done on the MPC live.  I think I'm starting to get the hang of it, building the muscle memory and don't have to think so much on how to navigate around the MPC.  I probably could have made...
