Money is kind of like a toddler: if you turn your head away for just a minute, you quickly lose track and have a mess on your hands. But it’s not only important to keep track of money to prevent yourself from having a mess on your hands. There’s a greater reason why we need to know where our money goes.

When it comes to relieving the financial pressure many of us feel the, the surprising solution isn’t more. Believe it or not, getting more simply leaves us wanting more. Instead of getting more, Jesus invited his followers to a different place.

If your money could talk, what would it say? If you were to assume your money was FOR you, what would it tell you to help you? In today’s message we begin exploring this idea and discover that what our money would say parallels closely to what Jesus did say

All parents understand one of the greatest challenges of parenting: getting your kids to see things from a different perspective. Is it possible that God sees us the same way? Perhaps if we could see as God sees, we would do as God says.

Ironically one of the greatest needs we humans have is also one of our great fears: to be known by others. We need to be known, but we’re afraid of rejection. But when we PAUSE and give space to allow others to know us, we discover something very important.

Life can really be summed up as one giant tug of war. We’re constantly pulled in opposite directions, and whichever side pulls harder wins the battle. In today’s message we look at a tug of war with faith, and we begin learning how to be victorious.
