Now it is high time to wake out of sleep. The belief in life apart from God is a dream from which we must awake, if we are to taste the waters of Reality, which flow from the Sources of life. We can never be happy without inner peace, and things do not give us peace A connection to the inner Christ gives us peace.

In presenting the parable of the Prodigal Son to his listeners Jesus began by saying that the Father had two sons. The Father in the story is the Universal Spirit. Meaning that, as the son of God, man has the right to self-choice. This carries with it the possibility of apparent duality and the possibility of experiencing good and evil.

Always the idea of perfected man must have been in the Divine Mind ; involved within the Cause is its Effect. Man being an individual, may do as he wills with himself. The Spirit ever has a witness within us and the God-intended person already knows that he is One with the Whole, that Nature is comprised of One ultimate Power, using many instruments and having many avenues of expressions.

We are to know the Truth by its fruits. A certain estimate of reality is ever evidenced by its worth in actual living. We are not to separate life from living nor God from His creation. One is the Cause, the other is the effect. The invisible things of God are manifest through the visible, and unless the invisible thought and desire of the man are in line with Truth, his acts will fall into error.

Prayer has power, not through repetition, but by belief and acceptance . Prayer is to be simple, direct, and receiving. The secret of prayer and its power in the outward life depends upon an unconditional faith in, and reliance upon this inner Presence.

All our experiences are working to the end that we learn the lesson of life and return to the Father’s House as freed souls. We should not despise apparent failures – the temporary chagrins of life – for they are salutary, leading the soul to the inner Christ, the Way, the Truth, and the Life. When the experience is complete, the lesson will be learned and we shall enter the paradise of contentmen...

That which we call Personality/Character is the instrument through which Spirit operates. Nevertheless, Spirit can operate for the individual only by operating through the individual. Spirit is never bound by the form It takes, and is not affected by any apparent cause or condition, but is forever free.

Very definitely James 1: 13 tells us that God never tempts any man . James says God cannot be tempted and that all temptation is from man's owns mind. Evil is man created while God – the Eternal Goodness – Knows nothing about it. He is too pure to behold evil and cannot look upon it

We are to believe in ourselves because we believe in God. The two are ONE. We are to know those passing negative events cannot hinder the onward march of the Soul. The temporal imperfection of the human cannot dim the eternal integrity of the Divine.

A Simple Guide for Behavior. Jesus is saying do not pick on people, jump on their failures, criticize their faults — unless, of course, we want the same treatment. That critical spirit has a way of boomeranging. It is easy to see a smudge on our neighbor's face and be oblivious to the ugly sneer on our own.

No one can demonstrate peace while clinging to unhappiness . To experience peace one must exemplify peace. As we thinks into this Universal Mind, we set a law in motion, which is creative and which contains within Itself a Limitless possibility.

More people are staved spiritually and intellectually than physically. A full stomach will never satisfy an appetite for knowledge. Nor can bread and fish satisfy the inner yearning for Truth. The whole body needs to be fed: Bread and fish for the body: Knowledge and wisdom for the soul: and love atmosphere and mental awareness for the Spirit.

Every time we think, we are thinking into a receptive, plastic Substance, which receives the impression of our thought. When we stop to realize how subtle thoughts are, how unconsciously we think negation, how easy it is to get down and out mentally, we shall see that each is spreading his condition. Right thought, constantly poured into consciousness, will eventually purify it.

There is nothing in the Universe that wishes evil to anyone. It is only as we experience good that God is expressed through us. The more completely we realize good, happiness, and success, the more perfectly do we express God and the more of God do we become, that is the more does God becomes personified through us.

The relationship between the individual and the Universal Mind is one of reflection . That is, what we imagine for ourselves, It images for us. Then it follows that the very law which creates bondage could as easily create freedom. The Divine Spirit intends freedom for us. The fact that we have individual creative thought presupposes the use of our creativeness in more than one way.

Starting today, we can expect to demonstrate or to have our prayers answered according to our belief and embodiment of that belief.
