When we understand who Jesus is we find that he defines who we are.

When the disciples forget to pack a picnic they wonder about God's provision. But Jesus is more concerned about those who would add or subtract from the gospel!

The religious elite can figure out the weather but can't figure out Jesus. How about you?

Seems like we've heard this story before- 4000 fed with just a few loaves. But this time it's gentiles who get to eat... And it isn't just the crumbs!

It's not what goes in, it's what comes out!

This is a disturbing story where Jesus appears to be rather rude to a need woman. But we see in the end that even crumbs from his hand is sufficient.

Just cos Peter walked in water doesn't mean you should too! Jesus comes to us in our fears. When we come to him we find ourselves sinking until we call out "Lord save me".

Jesus feeds 5000. But this isn't about you bringing your lunch to Jesus to see what he can do. This is about the compassion of our Savior who meets our needs.

Herod is a little worried about who this Jesus is? is i John come back from the dead? but his head had been chopped off. So who is this guy? The real issue is, who is the real King? Who is your king?

No one likes exams! But Paul calls us to examine ourselves to see if we are in the faith. Run these tests and see if you pass or fail....

Saul and Jonathan! One does what seems right and the other obeys in faith. Which are you most like?

Paul is able to arrive in Corinth. What are the expectations of him? Is he after their money? Will he be a major let down? Paul says I will spend all for you, it's all to strengthen and serve you. This should be the attitude of all gospel ministers....

There will always be thorns. Well get poked, we'll bleed and get infected. But his grace is sufficient....

There is a long list of things we could all boast about. But Paul boats in weakness. We're all basket cases and it's in the basket that we find grace....

A bride should be devoted to the groom and not making eyes at the best man! The church should be devoted to Jesus and not deceived by the man in the mask...

What to do when you're unfairly judged? Here is how Paul goes about challenging our superficial judgements.

We do not live by the standards of this world. Not do we fight with the weapons of this world. The power of the gospel over comes.....

We're called to be generous. But we're generous because He gave all for us...

Not many of us like admin. But Paul makes sure that when it comes to money in the church, there is no chaos...

In the midst of a financial crunch, Paul tells us to be generous. But it is the gospel that must prompt our generosity.

Good grief leads to life while a worldly sorrow doesn't.....

Boundless joy, and a greater joy still! If it possible to find boundless joy is the midst of trouble? Paul thinks it is...
