Watchin It

Alright, back on track with a monthly Talkin It. Might be a little rusty cause this one might sound a bit like a Watchin It at the start, but we'll get back in the swing of things.

Ahsoka seems alright. I mean almost half way in and can't say it's bad. Can't say it's good, but it's there. Robert is approaching the exciting end of a 5 year old show and Donnell wonders if Texas Chainsaw Massacre has always been this campy.

Wasn't planning on doing this, but we just saw the Blue Beetle and you know what? It was pretty good. So we want to talk about it.

Alright, you are probably like "What? 3 episodes on a Sunday? That's can't be right. And you are right. 3 episodes on Sunday is weird. So that's why it's 4. We might have gotten a little back logged on episodes. Maybe didn't get Talkin It out in a timely manner. But we're changing that. And this time we mean it (I mean it's not like I've said that before right)...

Alright, so we all know that Andor is the best Star Wars show. But maybe Ahsoka can match it? I mean, it's a pretty good premise. Well we are diving right into the first 2 episodes to find out.

Yes, I know it's usually what we been watchin, but you know what. I play a game. I played a lot of a game. I played so much of this game that I might have played to much. And I want to talk about it. So that's what we got.

This week we have Hootel Artemis. A good movie to watch when you just want to sink into you couch after a long day of activaties. Whether it's doing some early moring yard work, a hike through the mountains, or a long drive, this is the movie for just relaxing and not thinking. They don't make them like this anymore.

So, it's a bit of a quite time. We don't have a show to watch, so we just going to do an extended What We Been Watchin. And one of the things we finally watched is the Lower Decks/Strange New Worlds crossover.

Well that was an ending. I mean I don't know what I was expecting from this show, but not really feeling what we got.

So yeah. You might have noticed that there was no episode last week. Is that because we didn't record one? Maybe. But no. Donnell just maybe deleted it. But we are back and plunging forward with 166.

While we are in the thick of the Secret Invasion, TV is coming back to life and Robert and Donnell might have found a few more shows to watch. Plus Wandavision season 2? I think not. And who the hell is Elly Conway and what dirt do they have on Hollywood?

Whelp, Silo Season 1 is done. And now we wait. Cause omg is this show good. We are going to talk about and spoil it so if you haven't checked out the show, you should probably not listen to this till you do.

We are finally back to scheduled content. And to launch us off we got Secret Invasion. Not going to lie I've been waiting for this one. So does it's start show promise. Is this going to be the next Loki? Guess you will have to listen to find out.

That's right. We are joined once again by the one and only Kai Bobbi. And this time we are talking about the still juicy Mummy. Join us as we look back to were it kind of all begun for Robot Man. When the hell is Doom Patrol coming back?

As the shows start to roll in and we get ready to cover a regular amount of content, we thought we would give an update on what we've been watching during this down time.

A movie about a game. But nothing like the game at all. Robert loves it. Donnell not so much. The world? Also no so much. But still, it's one of best board games movies ever.

So it's a week late, but we have Greenstreet Hoolgans for you. A unique movie that's about football, but no really. Join Donnell as he introduces Robert to Hoolganism.

Whelp we took a trip down memory lane, and maybe we should have. Would say that this movie didn't age well, but honestly, I don't know if it was ever good. Or even decent. I guess childhood see the world totally different because adult Donnell and Robert don't have enough nostilga to call this a good movie.

Whelp, Robert has returned from his road trip. And for the first time he seems worse then when left. Join us as we dive into the crazy chicken fried steaks and random old magas.

As we continue through the show break, we bring you Enemy Mine, an 80s sci-fi movie that never took off. But it's unique in it's own right.

The end of an era is here. After 2 solo movies and 2 huge combo movies, the Guardians are having their swan song. Will they go out with the same bang they arrived with or just sputter quitely into the night.

Man, this movie just hits a bit different these days. Also, we only get zebra pants for the first 10 min of the movie. Definitely a downgrade from the previous movie.

Whelp this movie just hits differently these days then when it first came out. Is this a great movie? No. Is it a good movie? Maybe. But one thing it is, is the only movie where you get to watch a man in zebra pants be badass. Don't quote me on that. There could another one, I'm not going to go searching for it.
