Watch or Not w/ Jay and MJ

Queer As Folk has been rebooted on Peacock/NBC.  How do we feel about it?  And MJ was very surprised by the Hulu original Fire Island but he still had some questions.  And lastly, we touch on the Supreme Court decision and why it's f*****.

This is the HBO Max version - not the Netflix documentary.  We really weren't sure if we should do this series since it's technically true crime.  But the show had some actors we really like so we figured why not. We're also chatting about the Kentuckiana Pride Festival!

So here's the thing - MJ has played several of the Halo games.  Jay's only exposure was in college playing battle mode and getting his ass kicked.  So our review is coming from a place of limited game knowledge.  Still worth the listen though. And we also talk about The Secrets of Dumbledore - What is this series supposed to be about??!

Is this show that the Met Gala was supposed to be based off of??  Regardless, we're reviewing The Gilded Age - since it's almost like Downton Abbey in America. And we've got a lot to say about Dr. Strange and the Multiverse of Madness.

Based on the graphic novel by Alice Oseman, we review Heartstopper this week.  We literally can not stop smiling at this series.  I know Watch or Not is supposed to be a surprise, but we couldn't help it. And Real World Homecoming New Orleans is on Paramount+, bringing Jay back to his high school teen years!

We're actually reviewing a network show for once - CBS show Ghosts. Also, it's Derby season in Louisville and we talk about the Netflix A&F doc - since we both used to work there.

This show from Apple TV+ was WILD!  Hear our thoughts on Severance.  And how many of you are excited about the new season of Stranger Things?  We talk about the newest trailer drop!

This show might have gotten us intrigued in reading the books - we're reviewing Reacher from Amazon Prime today. We're also very excited about Hogwart's Legacy and we discuss the gameplay video that was released.

We couldn't let the HOURS we spent watching this show go to waste, so we're talking Inventing Anna - even though it came out weeks ago. Jay discusses LGBTQIA+ groups, which leads into kind of a deep conversation - we get a little real.  Then we dumb it back down by talking about the slap.

It's the spinoff that HIMYM fans have been waiting for!  Listen to hear our thoughts!  Finally discussing The Batman, since we've both seen it.  And we briefly touch on this year's Best Picture Nominees - even though by the time you hear this the winner will have been chosen

This show title is a mouthful but we got thru it.  I guess this was a dark comedy thriller??  Who knows?!  Also, we discuss Fast 9 for some reason and our brackets even though Jay has no state pride. Don't forget about our patreon and visit us on the socials!

So another reboot/continuation - maybe reincarnation is the word we should use.  And Just Like That is on our radar this week.  What did you all think? Also, Netflix is losing all the Marvel shows that are on it's platform with no designated home for them yet.  Quite annoying if you ask us.

Is everyone excited about the Super Bowl?!  Maybe you're more of a commercials person?  Or is it the halftime show that's got you pumped?  Regardless, we're discussing all of that and Jay might get a little soap boxy. Afterwards, we review the Showtime continuation Dexter New Blood.  If you haven't seen any of the previous seasons of Dexter prepare to be spoilt!

So we're reviewing Wheel of Time which based on a book series by Robert Jordan.  Pretty excited about this one actually but listen in to see what we thought. Also, what we're excited about for the Winter Olympics and our first impressions of How I Met Your Father.

Netflix tried its hand at live action anime - Cowboy Bebop.  Jay has no frame of reference for this show but MJ does, so we talk about some of the changes from the original.
