We finish up West Africa this week and start to talk about North Africa. This includes the Capsian, Kiffian, and some Nilo-Saharan discussion. We also talk about the Nabta Playa site.

This week we continue our look at the peoples of West Africa at 8000 BC. This includes their independent development of pottery to deal with a changing diet during the last Green Sahara. The final episode of the this year's (2022) SciFi/Fantasy specials. We take a look at the lore for the creation of this universe, as well as go into what makes it unique from other fantasy worlds.

The penultimate episode of our sci-fi/fantasy episodes for this October. We're discussing the South Korean fantasy drama Arthdal Chronicles. This focuses on the 1st episode of the series. It has spoilers for the 1st episode only.

This week's Halloween/Fantasy/Sci-Fi episode is about Robert E. Howard and his Conan the Barbarian stories. A great set of simple sword and sorcery adventures filled with action and horror. This is a primer to the world and how it was a reflection of historical and archeological ideas of the past floating around our time. One day I will dive into specific adventures in this world.

We return to the main podcast this week with a brief overview of our earliest attempts at agriculture. We also talk about some practices and developments that arose from that. I also lay out the general plan for the rest of season 3 which will continue in November after the Halloween episodes.
